So what do you think would be a reasonable CD after you do a crafting order?

Concentration acts as the cooldown you ask. To the best of my knowledge, the best of the best of items (ie. best consumables, best enchants, best 5-star equipment etc.) cannot be crafted without spending at least a couple hundred concentration even with full profession equipment, full profession tree and even some racial perk (like Gnomish Engineering). This me that, since we recover 240 Concentration per day, means that at most we can craft 1-2 optimal items per day.
I dont use any concentration to craft gear mate. So its not realy a cooldown.
Sure when people use sub quality regents then maby. But all R3 and no concentration needet at all.
3 private crafts per week would be reasonable.
i diagree there no need for a cd its crafted gear the spark and weekly crest cap work as that imo
Yes mate, but i think you dont get what im after.
Imagine you want a cloak crafted for yourself.
You write in trade “need a cloak”
you get 3 messages:
Wich one of them would you give your oder?
From my experience the 1. one that wrote you, gets your order.
Next customer want’s a cloak. Same 3 tells, same order. The fastest one gets it again.
So a CD of let’s say 10 min would give the other two crafters at least a chance to make some gold, without locking the 1. one out completely.
It gets even worse without any CD if people are/start using macros or tools, where you only have to click the name or it auto tells people using keywords.
So i would like to see a reasonable cd, so can keep writing stuff like “Hi mate. I can make that cloak you want.”, instead of just a “+” as fast i can.

I spoke with some fellow crafters and they told me what tools and weakauras they use, to do that shifting fort them.
One example is “Craftscan” that scans the trade chat and then you only have to press one button and it will send a msg. Well you still have to press the button faster.
And some people made Weakauras that fully automate that process. Filtering, recognizing keywords and sending a msg. Those people dont share the WA, and for a good reason.
I think that is just crazy. A 10min maby even 30min CD would help everyone get some cash and not just people “exploiting” the lawlessness of the system implemented.
the whole system needs an overhaul. spamming in chat is not the solution. make a seperate section in the action house or whatever. i hate it when i want a craft like 10-20 people write to me.
Just add “required quality” in public orders for customers and increase amount of public craft orders for crafters. No need to write in chat about LFC then.
If I need stuff crafted, I use the crafting-board. No need to spam the chat.
That would be paradise for bots, no human could fulfill an order.
I don’t see any need for a cooldown. Crafting does not need to be made more arduous.
there are many crafters like myself that can craft everything or almost everything that dont advertise their work as they dont want to be stuck for hour spamming TC trying to get some work because the chat for proffs is just spammed to hell your lucky if you can even right click the person you want to Wisper to get a craft done

No cooldowns on personal or guild specific ones. Public personally I dont care about.
I dont want to wait half an hour to complete my 3 weekly crafting orders
If you diligently have been getting kp you can craft enchanted gilded gear at t5 with t3 mats without concentration depending on how you invested
I currently am able to do that with the following crafts: Mace, shield, bracer, boots, belt and am currently working on getting helmet to that level.
As a Black Smith i can craft gear with just the smallest reagent (+5 skill if i’m not mistaken) and don’t need concentration to craft R5 stuff
As a Jewelcrafter with maxxed trees (except for some gems which will be slowly filled) and a +5 Draenei racial, I still need 200-300 concentration per 5-star craft.
That’s rough, I guess JC isn’t a hard gear crafting profession like tailor/leatherwork/blacksmith so maybe thats the difference, considering there’s also gems and other toys it could craft.
Sure there’s not some flat skill up talents to grab in other trees? blacksmithing has a few rings that gives flat + skill to every single craft but it’s not listed in the armor or weapon trees.
Nothing more needs to be said about this.
Crafting is already a chore at this point, it really doesn’t need to be more of it.
