How about MDI mode?

My guild thought about an internal mdi but tackled many issues that prevent us from this community event.

some problems:

  • its really hard to get 2 of the same keys at a certain level
  • RNG in some dungeons like mists
  • key depletion

Solution:
its fine that we have gear progression until m+15 and also good we got key depletion until then. But can’t we just say with mdi mode enabled we can choose a key starting from +15 without getting any rewards at all?

I also want to say I hate esports in wow but as a fun event it would be a nice alternative to content droughts. In such a mode you can even implement price pools(gold, mats, flask, pets) filled by guild participants.

Our guild tends to agree on a dungeon then keeps rerolling keys until they get the one they want, obviously this takes a lot of effort for the organisers.

y did that too but

was the reason we only did it once

I think soon we got a TGP in August. When everyone who wants to compete in your guilds-MDI will sign up, you get access to the tournament realm

Tournament realm:

  • extra registration and login to another website
  • hours of vendoring to equip your character

So nah thats not how I thought about an “easy” solution to start an ingame event.
Ingame we already have the guild environment + guild calendar + chars ready to start.

Last point:
Real mdi with hard core players != casual guild that just want to start an event like the weekly raid

I understand it is not exactly what you are looking for, also because of the scheduling restriction. But it is an idea, isn’t it

This is plain nonsense. Yes you need 15 minutes to set up your char…

was exaggerating but I don’t feel attached to my char on the TR. Sounds weird but I’m not a fan of a template character tbh

Also. How to you solve the problem of the price pool that I mentioned?
