How am I meant to do Tazavesh?

So after coming back since I left after the release of 9.1, I don’t understand how I am meant to complete a dungeon I can’t queue for and there are no groups for it. I understand I can make a group, but in general you are asking for a lot of time for that. I just want to be able to play content, I can’t believe they couldn’t have just added it to LFG queue.

Why is blizz so insistant on holding onto this system of finding players it is BEYOND annoying.

I can’t believe Blizzard is forcing players to group up and communicate in MMORPG… how dare they? This is completely unacceptable, instant unsub.

I think the issue is that Tazavesh takes a lot of effort for not that much reward. This late into the patch almost no one bothers to do it. So like he said, it’s hard to build a group for it.

I would say honestly, being able to solo dungeons would not be a bad thing. In Panda or WoD I was leveling paladin strictly from clearing dungeons solo, it was taking much more time, but it was also much more fun.

For the same reason none of the mythic dungeons have LFG. It has a weekly lockout of loot and that doesn’t go very well with LFG and how often people leave. It would stagnate a lot of groups.

I run TV HM once every few weeks with some guildies. Don’t need anything from it, but it’s kinda fun to be doing something that isn’t timed or a 2 hour long wipe fest that requires 20 people.

The requirements for TV normal mode aren’t that high, but I do agree that the reward item wise is rather low compared to what you need to do it.

I mean just try it. From my experience, there are way more people waiting and refreshing the finder, rather than posting groups. If noone signs up, you can still delist and you lose nothing, so give it a go.

On another note, it will be added to the LFG queue in 9.2., on heroic.

Not entirely true. At the start of 9.1., I geared like 3-4 toons with Tazavesh, to catch up since I had mainly Normal / Heroic CN gear. So Tazavesh actually had quite alot to offer.

It’s also an amazing dungeon.

You do know that it will be added to the LFD list in 9.2, right?

This is a dead time in WoW because of the content drought and Shadowlands being awful. I’d love to do some BFA raid transmog runs too, but there are like no players.

This is unfortunate
I personally get hardmode only because i did it in first weeks
i knew that i need to do it because This what you descibe will happen
so the best way to clear content is to do it when they release it
especially mega dungeons
cause they will be worthless till next patch when they make them m+

It’s not just the ilvl requirement. 8 bosses is a big time commitment for some. Pugs often don’t even bother to finsih the dungeon once they got what they wanted.

I think even splitting it in 2 would make it a lot more accessible (which will happen in 9.2).

i do it once a while for the lulz and met a couple if players who were begging us not to leave because they needed it for the quest. crazy time we live in. But outside of the hardmode and mount it is usless

Thanks for the other replies, but these kind of replies REALLY annoy me. As someone who has things to do, and those things can happen randomly, like my 2 year old coming in my office talking about poo poo, or screaming her head off, my mrs constantly calling me to get things or open things. I would like to just be able to queue for something and get it done rather than wait around trying to find a group that is forming or try and form my own.

That whole way of doing things is a bit old school now. It should still exist for those that wish to do it, but there really needs to be alternatives for others who like to have their time respected. MMORPGs do not have to be that way. Look at FF14 where you can queue for EVERYTHING except their versions of mythics. So easy to just do what you need or want to do then get on with your day. If my group that I am in wipes, i got sto start the whole process over again. How is that something good?

Many players started this game when we re younger and had time, but now a lot have families and responsibilities, and can’t just dedicate hours upon end to this game without that timebeing disrupted.

I am not asking that they do away with how the system is now, allowing people to find others in group finder and making friends in guilds or out in the world to do content with. I simply want an option that is there for players that just want a way to have access to content without players controlling what you get to do or not. Give us an LFG for everything but mythic. I mean why the hell not? The other group finder can stay as is for those that want to find a more custom tailored group.

Sometimes I don’t know what is wrong with many players that actively want you to not be able to play the game because you have a life. Some of you need to try FF14, not that I am saying it is better because it isn’t, but it is SOOOOOO much better in regards to respecting players time and general accessibility.

It’s gonna get a queueable 2 wing heroic difficulty just like Return to Karazhan and Operation: Mechagon did.

wait for 9.2 obviously tazavesh was a one time thing. It’s sad but there is actual no reason to spam this dungeon. But shadowlands has a problem with rewards in general. Its get boosted or nothing

Go overgeared and you’ll find people. Don’t go in there to gear. Go to normal raiding first.

OP i can help you if you want to get the hardmode mount i can tank, heal or dps for you just send me a mail on this char and i will add you to BT

It is not designed well in terms of being convenient for gearing so most people go in there just to see it once or twice for the experience.

So don’t even try it for now unless you’re overgrearing it first (before it’s m+ in 9.2) .

So in 9.1: first gear in normal raiding and then you’ll find people for taza easily.

You wait for 9.2 when it is split into two parts and joins the regular queue system.
Or, like me, you wait for 10.0 and hope that the power progression of 10.0 is batter than 9.0 (when I couldn’t solo Freehold) and you solo it.

You could find a guild / community and do it with friendly / helpful members of that.

You know all of you saying balalalalalaal u could have done what i did and just offered to help the OP instead of just talking at him.

Mate I also have responsibilities, but that doesn’t mean I want the game to insta-hand out all the rewards for me.
With my limited gaming time I got 2 KSM’s on different chars (one only vie pugging in LFG, other with guildies), got several mythic kills, got couple +20 done. My point is - I miss a lot of achievements/kills/etc., but I don’t complain in forums that I can’t kill Mythic Sylvanas or complete all dungeons on 20+.

I’ve done what I am capable of and I am happy about it because I had fun doing it, instead of simply complaining that I can’t get it all in 2 days.

About FF14 - if you like it - just go and play it. I tried it, lasted 3 hours. Not my thing to read so much texts and kill 5mobs every 10mins. I want action and that is personal preference

I myself really like Path Of Exile, currently it’s by far my favourite game. I could go to everyone saying like “hey mate go play it, it’s soo good, you need mathematics, engineering and statistcs master degrees to play it and min-max it!”, but I don’t, it’s peoples choice. And I love PoE because it is increadibly deep and complex game, I need to put a lot of effort to complete that game, and I wish wow had at least some of it.

There has to be an easy content, medium, hard, hardcore and 1% min-maxers uber hardcore content in the game. And people doing easy/medium content should never ask to nerf/change hardcore content, etc. Just stay in your league, and if you want easier game - just do easier content.

I understand what you are getting at.

I played 9.1 for 3 months, and came in about 3 months after patch launch and never managed to get a group for Tazavesh, beyond a last boss only group for the mount which I got first kill.

It honestly felt like because I wasnt there when the content was fresh out, I had missed out on it. I like the concept of these mega-dungeons, but they don’t live long.
