Ok i know this is probably gonna sound petty but its a real peeve of mine
i have been a collector of mounts and stuff in wow for a long time but nowadays you can just “buy” carries for stuff and i know since these “companies” started trading these “carries” for gold (at least when advertised IN game but never on their websites) blizz have said theres nothing wrong with it
BUT and this is where i am so annoyed even if these “companies” dont get tackled by blizz for RMTs (even tho they ARE RMTs) i have checked out these websites so blizz dont have to do that part of the legwork and it turns out these are “piloted” boosts so while they claim these are not done by bots which i doubt, “piloted” means account sharing these companies literally ask buyers to hand over their account details for some of these boosts
are blizz actually saying now that account sharing is fine?! cos last i heard its against the EULA its bad enough that these “companies” are selling gold and getting away with it and theyre using bots and account hacking to GET that gold… and getting away with it but now theyre just getting peoples login info from people PAYING to hand it over? and theyre STILL GETTING AWAY WITH IT
