Thinking about potentially switching to a human rogue as some people are saying a male nelf rogue isn’t realistic lorewise. So, I was thinking humans surely are, just wondering how are they?

They got the IS:7 (don’t Remember exact name). And entire organisation of rogues on the Alliance, and Matthias Shaw (human rogues) Is they’r leader!

They’ve also got the bloodsail buccaneers, the Defias Brotherhood, the Syndicate and plenty of other crime organisations to get inspiration from. Humans have no shortage of criminality

Why is a Nelf not Rogue like?
Their entire racial is ment to be in stealth and be sneaky…
If you want peak performance Rogue Lore you should play Tauren though.

Ur taking action in your own hands, doing the dirty things thst high pontif elfs think it but never do it cuz it doesnt align with the bigotism

Ur an elf rogue, ur special, human are rogue by nature , no matter what class they play or disguise in.
Stay a filthy rogue elf and do justice from the shadows, even tough for brother elfs u wil forever remain a persona nongrata.
The hero that elf needs, not the hero that they think they need.

Lore-wise I think there is nothing wrong with night elf rogues. Humans in general can be fit into any kind of class theme setting, as they were always portraited as versatile.
I certainly would not race change any of my characters because some rando or friend tells me that lore-wise it isn’t realistic. We stepped over that barrier when classic launched and we got human/gnome warlocks with a makeshift/lol reason.
As long as you have a “valid” reason in your head about what drove your night elf to go down the route of the sneaky stabby stabby you should be fine.
Unless you are the adopted child of Neltharion and the only reason why you go rogue is because this is your way of teenage rebelling or something.

Found kitchen knives when there was a robber, I was a bit high on tree of life juice, I stabbed him in self defense. Felt amazing, now I go around as an assassin stabbing for whoever pays the most coin.

It’s because their stealth walking animation, looks like they have crapped their pants.

While this just my own personal subjective view. But I dislike the animations for human rogues. Comparing with some “elegant” elfy stealth, humans feel like minecraft robots trying to stab somebody.

I’m beginning to think my night elf rogue is fitting to the lore.
I mean, some claimed that it isn’t, because it’s a male and only female should be such class whereas male should only be druid or dh.
