Beats me, but I’m levelling one beside my Holy Priest. They’re fun and flavourful.
As far as I’m aware, all healing specs are A+ this tier.

Yes awesome if you already have friends to play with. If your plan is to PuG you might find it hard to get invites to groups.
They are better healers then the community perception
Better than in 9.1 for sure. The new affix helps quite a lot with mana, I’m stacking mastery for M+ and doing ok with it (for me).
That said, resto shaman is a B+ and MW is a C. And yeah, a C tier healer is “fine” for basically everything, but if I was maining shaman this season, I wouldn’t swap, because I’ve never seen them looking so good.
A move to make only if you think rsham is making your life too damn easy and you crave challenge.
One of the raid - and M+ - healers i often get with works with Fistweaving and the normal traditional MW and does the same - if not better at times - kind of output.
Can’t speak for or against the advice of better/more experienced MW players but I can safely say MW can blast when it needs to in the right hands. Certainly worth a try now in 9.1 if anything!

I like it.
Got 2k m+ 2nd week, progressing mythic with it (5/10M).
Averages top 2 in heals (raids), mana is a non issue with ATotM legendary, 2 very powerful raid cooldowns (Revival+BonedustBrew, Chi-Ji with Mana Tea/Innervate and hardcasting EnvelopingMist (Pretty much the only thing you use mana for except the occasional vivify cleave and EF for refreshing ATotM)).
Definitely a fun and competitive spec this patch imo.
