Hello Guys , i’m thinking to choice an Alt and i was wondering if Monks are strong in this patch for Borg contents Pve and PvP.
What’s “borg” content?
WW in PvE is good. You will shine more in M+ due to better AOE. Our ST falls behind other specs a bit. Your utility will be wanted in both M+ and Raids. In PvP WW is very strong.
Brew in PvE is a solid tank. Not as good as prot pala, but still quite strong.
MW in PvE is a strong healer. Most common complaint I heard is that MW is mana hungry.

MW Does good healing, but they cost more mana and dont have a raid niche / raid CD except a heal.

Monks are really fun to play.
Brew is one of the stronger tanks atm.
WW is good but not outstanding anymore since the nerf, they are still strong for PvP.
MW is solid but the community perception isn’t great so might be hard to get into groups. They aren’t the greatest in PvP as far as I know.

ww trash in pvp, strong in pve
Worth mentioning; you can start outgearing even +15s to the point where you forget you ever had a mana issue. As in, you’ll still need to drink now and then, but you won’t run dry during bosses.
Except Hakkar on Tyrannical week, obviously. Good luck team, I hope you have battle res.
Although we have some more buffs coming in 9.1 and this probably isn’t a terrible time to start an MW
