How are people being afk and not getting removed from bg's?

I have had multiple games where people would just stay in the exact same spot for the whole battleground and they weren’t disconnected? How is it fair that if I go out there and fight to win some Honor , they get about the same amount as the one I’ve earned?

Will reporting them even do anything beside giving them a 15-30 minute debuff?

Also how are they not getting instantly removed? Are they using some macro/script?

This high tech hack called space bar.

Because report system is useless… Blizzard doesn’t give a f*** about Afk leechers.

I am perhaps probably just not seeing it, but the report AFK option seems to be missing from my menu. Only see report for sabotage and what not. I guess going afk is sabotage so maybe that is correct report option.

The easier way is open the map, pick on the player point and pick in “Afk”

But It works really bad :S

Thx I will try again next time!

Blizzard changed this. In Shadowlands you right clicked someones portrait and you had a “Report Player” option twice. One was a report for being AFK, the other was the standard report for cheating or whatever.

Now it is all in the one “Report player” window. But yeah AFK and gameplay sabotage is the same option. The person needs to recieve several reports and then they get a 1min debuff, which if they do not do any damage/healing in that 1min results in another 1min debuff. Once that one passes and again the player didn’t do anything, they get kicked from the BG.

The system is very lenient so kicking an AFKer is quite hard to achieve.

Ah thank you for clarifying!

Becouse if u say someone is afk at start people do not report him, that’s why.

If peps actually did report him he be kicked.
