So great, we have the artifact cloak, and now you supposedly “fixed” the issue where cloaks drop from dungeons, raids, etc.
But then why the heck is there a cloak in the tier set for this season? THIS looks like the bigger oversight to me. How are we supposed to get the appearances?
Maybe Veteran cloaks still exist on some vendors (like the Nightfall one I think?), but Hero / Myth definitely don’t.
Maybe on undercoin vendor?
Also only has Veteran gear which gives LFR and Normal versions. (in addition to not being available for many months since it’s one of the last unlocks of the Delver’s journey, but that’s OK).
Isn’t there something in the raid renown track about it? That’s what I read. Yeah, there, at renown two.
I see. It just says cloak appearances, but does that mean the actual tier set for your class? Since renown is account bound, do you get it for all classes? And all 4 versions?
Can’t remember, have only taken a look at the vendor once, but it does mean the tier set appearences.
I got mine from one of the raid vendors, gave me all cloaks from lfr to mythic. You need to kill Loom’ithar for it. You get a token and you can pick the cloaks for whichever class set you want.

Unfortunately you can only transmog the cloak appearance for your current class, as a warrior I liked the rogue cloak look the best so I got that first but I was not allowed to actually apply the transmog due to “wrong class”

Buddy, raid renown rank 2 gives you the answer to that very question.
You get a token each time you kill the moth that you can turn in for ANY of the classes tier cloaks
Wait, do they all work like that? Did they change the tier set transmog acquisition from the Catalyst to the raid reputation? (or both?)
No only the cloaks are gotten from the vendor outside raid for silk. The rest of the tier comes from the usual sources.
The person I was replying to seemed put out that tier set Tmogs couldn’t be used on classes not ment for the tier set.
With raiding. You can get a token from the second boss and you can use that said token to buy ensembles.
Its an appearance drop like taeshalch i think in the raid. Not sure which boss tho

Silkworm boss drops threads that are used to unlock the Tmogs for all 4 tiers at once per class.
