Hi all,
Im presuming alot of people are in the same boat as me currently, got my 2k mythic rating, done all raids on heroic, got my alts to a reasonable ilvl and ive been doing the raids on my alts just for vault awards etc but i am seriously finding it hard waiting for more content. So im just wondering how everyone else is keeping occupied why we wait for content.
Im not a big tmog or mount collector. Ive tried playing other games but i just hit a wall with them and to be honest since BG3 no new game has caught my eye.
I know prepatch is out wednesday but it doesnt seem like much content until the event on the 30th but even then i cant see that filling my time for long.
So yeh, what is everyone else up to?
It feels like a long wait till TWW lol
I assume most of us arenāt playing atm and are instead playing other games until prepatch.

Mount/title/achievement or even legendary weapon, pexing char.
You can pvp as well if you like it.
Thereās Remix if you havenāt done that yet, you got a month left for it.
I still got stuff to collect there.

Iāve been doing leftover DF quests, finished up getting M+ portals on my hunter, M+ keys here and there while trying to decide if I want to play my shaman or my hunter in TWW, practicing elemental shaman to see if I can get the hang of it, and helping some friends.
One of them came back from a break just yesterday (he hadnāt played since mid S2), and two of us spammed some Timewalking dungeons and LFR with him (on my Alliance char, since A and H still canāt do queueable content together). Weāll probably do some M0 and maybe low keys together today.
In three days the pre-patch hits, so Iāll be doing pre-patch stuff.
Im mostly playing other games. Right now im playin conan exiles with some wow friends. I still do keys with my keygroup, but we mostly just mock around with alts for fun. In wow im working on doing all the quests in DF since i havent done those yet.
I roleplay. Itās completely independent from PvE/PvP, so itās not affected by content draughts!

Everything I am doing you have said you donāt like doing, so I canāt really help you on that front. As others say, it is a good time to just play a single player game until release.
After Iām done with the weekly stuff I mostly play other games like Dungeons of Hinterberg or the Elden Ring DLC.
Basically Remix atm.
I deleted all my alts on Silvermoon apart from my degreened MVP char. Then I have deleted all duplicates that arenāt Paladins on Draenor. Now Iām rerolling some of the classes to be races I want to be via Remix.
I wanted to be a Gnome Priest so deleted my two Horde Priests. Deleted the monks to make a Pandaren one. Deleted my Warlock to make a Worgen. Deleted my Warriors to make a NE.
Mog farming in Retail feels less rewarding with TWW prepatch on the horizon, when I will be able to get all appearances every clear. I do the odd mount run in raids but only on my main and most of those arenāt legacy loot yet.
So Iāve been enjoying a nice chill time ready really. Prepatch will remain chill then the mania will start with the new expansion and then going on into the first gearing season.

Iāve been playing on remix to get classes that I never bothered to level up to 70 and to get as many achievements done as possible, so when Blizzard gets around to updating previous expansion achievements to be āaccount wideā, I donāt need to spend much time in MoP, when I revisit old expansion content randomly.
I donāt really play other games as I get bored with them very quickly. Apart from that, been watching tv shows that I watched many years ago, rewatching movies and find more creative ways to ignore my wife & daughter when they want my attention.
Iām trying to finish off Going to Need a Bigger Bag achievement. I only need Huolon mount and Spineclaw pet now. Probably the rarer of the items.
Also doing quite a lot of Dragon Soul to finish Awake the Drakes.
Thinking of finishing off the Insane title grind. I only need a few thousand junkboxes from pickpocketing.
This is absorbing enough of my time just now.
EDIT: Reins of Thundering Cloud Serpent just dropped off Huolon. So I have more time now - YAY!!

Thereās so many games on Steam also. Itās okay to take a break from WoW and play other games.
My go-to action when someone asks āwhat is there to doā or complains about lack of content is to check their Achievement Progress.
The game is full of activities and 20 years of content. Itās not only ilvl and season-limited rewards.
And as others have said, you can also play other games too. You donāt have to spend your entire free time on WoW.

Old contents is the way to go
Doing a bit of rep farming on MoP Remix, other than when the prepatch comes out I donāt plan to do any dungeons/raids etc until the next expansion.
