Not as a protest (because lets be real, blizz doesnt care about what pvpers do) but if TBC comes out definetely playing that. The pvp system was far superior than what it is now, same with WOTLK, that probably had the best pvp system to date.
That’s in the eye of the beholder. But 1. not an overflow of passives, 2. class abilities instead of spec abilities, 3. the only external power comes from sets and items, not from external systems such as covenants. 4. PvP gear with a genuine PvP stat (even though it’s the worst one they ever used, but still, the worst of the best is still better than the worst of the worst like in BFA and SL).
You know, you can make those small comparisons and then think for yourself.

Questionable. Fewer for sure, but some are really impactful. Like mace stun.

Well i think even if they release tbc they will wait with arenas for later patches…they want to timegate It like a tru milkers. So we have plenty of time.
652 bgs to get to a point where your gear is almost equal to m0 gear? What is this? A joke? Are they trying for pvpers to straight quit this game so they don’t have to care about this aspect of the game?
I haven’t been so mad for a while and a really really regret pre-ordering shadowlands.

We really need more stat combinations on those PvP vendors. I want to be able to get some relevant rewards for my character for doing PvP…I really hope they listen and fix this before release.

I literally switched from PvP to PvE and made this guild because of Blizzard’s ridiculous PvP loot issues.
That was over 4 years ago.
As frustrated and annoyed as this makes me, I cannot pretend that this is a surprise any longer.
And the worst part is that this stain of a system is actually a step up from what we have today. I mean I played 2.2k arena PvP yesterday, and I woke up this morning to a completely useless, randomly picked 470 item.
I played for 7 hours and I get one useless item, and I only get one shot per week.
It’s honestly a joke, and at this point I’m really not entirely sure why people believe it’s going to change. At this point it seems obvious that they want you all to go away.

Its actually funny how they could simply fix this by inventing a PvP stat, no need to give us 500 different items or whatever. Ah well, glad I have fun in M+ aswell, kinda sucks for everyone else tho that just wants to do PvP.

i quit for 5 years due to the state of PVP gearing… so many players have quit and never returned due to this. returned for this last year to be forced to buy PVE gear to compete…- tokens for runs with pve guilds (I am father and work so limited time)
I cannot understand why Blizz does this, or is this about driving the sale of tokens?
Watch Stoopzz feedback Blizz… save this game and more importantly - you WILL get alot more players returning, and not be losing alot again.

I just don’t care anymore. Blizzard already broke me in BFA. I’m going to suck it up and do all the raids, m+ etc just to be viable in PvP, not going to wait for them to fix PvP gearing because it will never happen.

Me too but with the exception that i do m+ anyways. I have a premade group and we do our weekly keys and the meta achieve for the mount so i will probably not have a problem with gear in that sense. It could only become a nuisance if some op trinket comes from the current raid. But well, then it’s lfg time i guess.
