Tomorrow, once again, my collector’s legacy will suffer. Everyone is hyped for Legion Remix, but in reality, the only new things are Azshara’s transmogs, a few new sets, and that’s basically it. The rest are either recolors or things we’ve already had before. Another recycled batch of content in this expansion.
We’ve already had Siren Isle, Turbulent Timeways, Horrific Visions, Turbulent Timeways again, Collector’s Bounty, and now we’re getting Legion Remix. Later in this expansion, we’ll still have Shadowlands Timewalking and Brawler’s Guild. There’s no real sign of Blizzard’s effort in any of this. Have all the resources been thrown into Midnight and The Last Titan? I doubt it, the zone designers are a separate team and they always do great work.
So far, Midnight looks to me like a simplified The War Within 2.0, or even Dragonflight 3.0. The Last Titan requires a complete Northrend rework, and since the zone designers are responsible for that, why is there still so much recycling in the current expansion? When will Blizzard finally get their act together?
I’m the biggest victim of their laziness. They came up with a catch-up system for collectors, while I had to earn everything the hard way, through real effort and dedication.

I find this kind of argument always so weird.
If you weren’t doing it because you enjoyed it in the first place; then what the hell are you doing?
You’re getting more sets. Cool, right?
I couldn’t care less about the mounts and such that we’re getting easy access to in Remix. But I’m doing it to get the few things that I like.
What someone else gets is of no concern to me.

They said collector’s bounty will possibly return in some form in the future, but on the other hand they don’t want to teach people not to consider it worth farming out of these events. So we will se what they come up with.
I am on the same boat and avoid farming legacy lately because of this devaluation of my efforts.
As a collector I suffer the most from bugged ensembles not awarding all the item sources, this is just killing me and the list is expanding…

You buy half of your achievements.
They shouldn’t balance the game around people like you and if things make you mad its probably an indication they are on the right track.

I have most of the stuff from legion yet couldn’t care less that people will get stuff “easier”.
Ill be playing remix for fun, you know, what games are actually ment for.

I get where you are coming from. But WoW isn’t a Collection priority game. It’s just something fun to do on the side.
So, from my own perspective, as a WoW “player”, I concentrate on the games progression first, and having a few things to collect along the way, whether it’s targeted goals like KSL, or vendor transmog from the last new zone is just there to keep me occupied during the down time.
Legion Remix isn’t a catch up system. There is no catching up involved. It’s there as a fun event to bring the Legion expansion back to life for a short while. It’s a reason to go back and collect those rewards.
For many players, including myself especially in this, going back and clearing old raids for low drop chance cosmetics just isn’t a fun game mode. So having an event like this is the perfect excuse to collect those items in a way that makes the content 1) feel current and 2) feels populated by other players.
And then we can tick Legion off the list and never need to return there ever again.
But I do agree that Blizzard are getting lazy with producing new content. But I think Legion Remix I think is a passable option. Brawlers Guild, Horrific Visions can do one though.
My guy uninstall the game and don’t play it and stop consuming content for the game. Instead of going on the forums and making multiple posts which don’t have a single logical argument

I mean you dont have to play it ? I’m a bit confused.
The fact Mage tower is not on Legion Remix is a good thing at least to me, some things should stay unique, and as far as I am aware, it’s pretty much the only thing that’s unique that is not getting released with remix.
It seems like you just expected a full expansion with legion remix which obviously is not what you were going to get, all in all very confusing take.
