I’ve been playing a lot DH because i like the class but i don’t understand how i can do more damage. I have a reroll Demo 381 and i feel like i’m doing more as Demo ? I’m 706 on my DH, focusing raids and i’m always bottom DPS even while i do a good combo, i don’t understand how people can do 3 or 4 times my DPS in raid while i don’t miss a spell or anything. Any tips ? Any easy to use Add-Ons ? Or am i just bad lol idk

Well. First of all check what hero talent build you feel more comfortable with. In raid they are very close and because of that how you output your performance is important. Scarred is allegedly the more simple one to play around. Generally for raid copy from wowhead the st build. The idea for this hero tree is doing you damage burst in every 20’s sec loops. With every i beam you need to pick the soul quikly, do essence break and then quikly annihilation and Death sweep. Those will do more damage with demonsurge. 2nd thing you need to check is your stats. This build love a lot of mastery and a bit haste but both hero trees sees crit as the most important stat. Make sure you have got that right. You are looking generally for crit mastery gear.
If you want to play the aldrachi reaver hero tree there is one thing i found tricky. You always want to do blade dance/death sweep second. Dont get fooled by guides. Fury of the aldrachi and wounded quarry are big portion of your damage even in single target and are much better the 3 stacks of reaver’s mark. So do chaos strike/annihilation first and blade dance/ Death sweep 2nd no matter the situation. Also if playing reaver make sure to take all relevant souls generating talents on the class tree. You can use chaos nova and sigil of misery just for the chance of generating another soul even if boss is immune.
