If this player wanted to be friends, they would have added you to friends list, or you added them to yours. All this is assuming you played together :wink:

Try a search on the main wow page.

before you do anything ask yourself if you’d be looking for this person if it was a he not a she :wink:

She left the group before I could add her and she was from a different realm

I am sure you can understand that people are often wary when advising how to contact somebody in game. If she left the group without adding you, maybe that is because they didn’t want to add you?

So if you really want to add this person and it is for genuine reasons, then Dottie advised how to do this, or try the WoW Armory.

maybe she had some special characters in her name? if shes actively running m+ you could try rio site as well.

You can’t add friends from other realms unless it’s a connected realm. You can add them as battlenet friends but you’ll have to know their battletag, which I guess you have no way of knowing without asking directly.

If you use an addon that shows your dps like Details, Recount, Skada etc you may have a record of how their name is spelt, providing you haven’t cleared the data.

Why does their intent have to be malicious? Why does someone trying to befriend someone else have to mean they are a stalker?

For example one person I am very good friends with made a character on my server and sent me messages, later we exchanged bnet tags and now we are on discords together, we talk on WhatsApp etc etc.

Had they not taken the time to track me down in game, we would not have the friendship we have now.

Equally if someone tracks me down in game and I don’t want to talk to them I will ask them to stop or I will put them on ignore. If you are being stalked in game by someone you can report them. Blizzard were very good dealing with someone who would not accept I did not want to speak to them.

because its the internet…

see the first thing i think when i read this is that that person is probably into you, while youre just trying to be friends - seen it so many times its the default thought (sounds very bitter i know… and ofc i could be wrong)

but there are some desperate people(MEN) on the internet… especially in wow for that matter as im sure alot of you are aware

ive had to learn to always expect the worst from people on the internet

I have ocasionally had to deal with unwanted attention yes, but then who hasn’t. On one occasion I had to get Blizzard to intervene when someone circumvented my ‘ignore’.

However that has never stopped me from making friends, in game, via the forums, social media, discord etc.

I have both male and female friends in game. Their gender has nothing to do with our friendship. I also don’t think every person is trying to get in my pants. The three people I spend the most time with in game are all male. There is no attraction at all :joy:

Well I checked a screenshot I made, and our name was exactly the same since it’s the main character of a series. (IZombie if anyone happens to be interested)
