Hi, Blizzard support! I would really like to get re-color from LFR but I cannot even roll it because I have the same set higher item lvl like from heroic and mythic also when I upgraded items from LFR my previous recolor was removed and I have now only new recolor and most pity I cannot even get another token from LFR because I’m not even allowed to roll it. I believe it’s very unfair. Could you, please, advise me how can I get lower recolor?

Make a fresh toon of the class you want it on and take advantage of the experience buff while you can. It’s probably the only way.

I farm with an army of alts, which is probably not something you want to do, but even one alt is probably enough. You can get the looks from running LFR and the vault and wont feel bad wasting catalyst charges on converting looks.
I do wish we could just buy the missing looks from a vendor after the season as over.
ilvl 405-415 (check upper level) from M+, should convert into LFR colour gear.
Epic Suffused gear from Fyrakk assault converts aswell (but is the only gear from world content). You can get a few pieces of this each week. I have managed to collect most pieces and have them stored in my bank until a time comes that I can convert them.
After the season ends, they will unlock the catalyst (probably not immediately) to allow you to convert these pieces into the previous tiers appearance, at no cost.
I think blizz was looking into a transmog option from previous seasons when they talked about the catalyst for S2.
Sadly I don’t think it’s materialised.
Or at least it still wasn’t working last week.
Nah they said they were still thinking about a way to make sets from prev seasons more easily obtainable through the catalyst but it was nothing concrete.
Got my heroic boots, boosted them to mythic tier, didn’t even receive the heroic tint it just went mythic and nothing else!
Off topic, sort of on topic. Anyone seen loot off the new world boss? Drops the DK belt and asides from catalysting a belt that’s the only option for it 
They said 10.1.5.
So apparently it will work in 2 weeks. We’ll see.
But it’s something they said they will be doing, so it’s worth holding on to the pieces for when it’s finally implemented.

- Level up an alt of the class you want thr LFR tier set for.
- Do LFR with alt. Keep their ilvl low so that they can always roll Need.
- Spam M+2 with alt and convert dungeon armor to tier set armor with the catalyst.
