How can I play old raids on the original difficulty/gameplay, solo, without queues, with 0 waiting time, 0 searching time. whenever I want to play them, wherever I want to play them.
You simply summon your mount and travel to their raid instance entrances out in the open world?
HoweverâŚ
isnât that compatible with
as soloing them means killing the bosses in a couple seconds, ignoring most of the mechanics. That is a far easier experience than when the raid bosses were current content and required 10 to 40 players to kill them. depending on the available raid sizes of the individual raids.
Also, soloing legacy raids like this means all loot gear drop) will not scale higher than the level of the expansion the raid came with, so this is not a shortcut for actually gearing up a character.
Not possible if you want to do it solo, and the closest youâd get would be on classic servers with a max level character, thats been levelled up on the Classic realms
Yep! Old content is a kind of âhad to be thereâ thing. There used to be level-stop guilds and stuff that did old raids while having the proper level butâŚ
I donât think thereâs many of those around anymore
Times change but oneshotting old big and bad bosses ist also charming in its own way imho ^^
You can level an alt and do the raids when theyâre âcurrentâ for your level.
But you canât solo them then, youâd need a raid.
So what you want does not exist.
You either solo them and disregard most mechanics or you find a raid and do them âfor realâ (which could prove difficult - finding a level appropriate raid).
The closest you can get to this as a solo experience is to level a character up to level (x + 2) and try to solo the raid.
x =
30 (vanilla, TBC and WotLK raids)
35 (Cataclysm and MoP raids)
40 (WoD raids)
45 (Legion raids)
50 (BfA raids)
Doing Temple of AhnâQiraj at level 32 might not even be possible, but from here you arenât far away from it being so. Get better gear, perhaps even gain one additional level, and try again. Repeat until you manage to clear the raid, and you will have an experience as challenging and close to the original gameplay mechanics as possible.
Timewalking raids is not relevant here in this context of soloing raids.
Timewalking is a regular event where a given past expansion is in focus and one of the expansionâs raids becomes available in a Timewalking difficulty. The raid still requires full composition, but the players only have to be of higher level than the expansion the raid belongs to. Then all players in the raid are being scaled down to the approprate level and power level for said raid.
It seems to me that blizzard really does not want us to do any old content at all and tries very hard to push us through the last 3 xpacs rather than the old way to level which was the old 1-60 path using the old 1-60 dungeons.
I actually miss those dungeons and that 1-60 dungeon crawl.
A new player today will most likely not see any 1-60 dungeons at all. What surprises me is that there are still players who do not know what to do in cata dungeons. Fine. It is old content but sad to see that people are pushed down the legion/kul tiras path. Pretty soon there wont be that many left who know what to do in dungeons up to level 30.
sounds like you want sync on the level of ff 14âs no echo minimum ilvl ⌠never going to happen old content is dead to blizzard the closets you will get is time walking raids and even that is deeply flawed plus it would not be like it was back then since some skills outright do not even exist anymore
