There are commands like this console UnitNamePlayerPVPTitle 0
I wonder if I can toggle on/off my character name, cause I take pictures in WoW and it is sometimes annoying to go to interface and click on/off. I know its not a big deal, but the scene may pass.
Hi!
You can set a keybind for toggling the nameplates on/off here:
Additionally, for quickly toggling chat bubbles on/off for screenshots in crowded places, you can use the following commands:
/console chatBubbles 0
/console chatBubbles 1
I use this a lot for taking pictures at roleplay events.
Actually, my apologies, it appears that the ‘All Name Plates’ doesn’t work for your own nameplate. I only realize this now because I never have my own character’s name plate visible by default.
There’s some nameplate commands listed, but unsure if they work properly in-game.
Hey Acrona, I checked, but definitely not sure. Seems you cannot close the server name.
I can on/off my title and my guild name, but not my server name. It is only possible with interface click on/off. Thanks for the detailed post ![]()
If you mean your character name as in the name over your character’s head in the game, i believe its a toggle option.
