I don’t think that ironforge.pro has accurate stats, since it shows Mograine have only 100-200 population…
And why Blizzard can’t give us the stats at monthly rate? I don’t understand? Is it something hard?
Blizzard stopped providing subscribers data many years ago as the numbers were in constant decline. I reckon they didn’t want their shareholders to panic.
In the last few years, their revenue has been increasingly reliant on microtransactions, so it seems to me they opt to have fewer customers that can be milked much harder.

There are so many servers with 10k+ population. I think the numbers are ok.

Best you can do is get a census addon (if a working version still exists for wrath) and scan in game.
ironforge is indeed inaccurate for many reasons - updates once per week and it’s only logs uploaded by players, but it does give a general sense of how the raiding activity looks like.
Mograine is a special case since 1 week ago it was a dead server and while now labeled as Full it might take a little while before guilds are properly established on WCL.
their numbers is shown to their shareholders every quater, they’d know the numbers published or not during their meetings and quaterly profits which is disclosed with them.
and i think everyone knows it’d decline, WoW launched in a period of 0 competition which made it the Only game to really play in this genre, to ongoing to be one of Multitudes avaliable… and then the f2p era to hit where alot of people decided they simply wouldnt pay monthly for a game anymore.
the reason they stopped printing numbers, is because groups of players who were against WoW, I.E DDosing servers etc etc, taking numbers out of context, or twisting things to try and shine negatively on the game so they stopped releasing them to end it.
