Iām personally probably a niche player that only summons as many demons as I can to do the DMG and Iām really sad that the new tree still doesnāt really promote that playstyle.
Pact of the Imp Mother went into the right direction. Having that work on Wild imps meant they got a strong 6th cast shortly before they disappear. But sadly it was only for the primary demons and got deleted the following week.
And to add to Daedraās point:
Demonology warlocks are supposedly the master of summoning. Why is it that we are forced to play with the Felguard since TBC
IMHO there should be a baseline passive that enhances all main demons in some way
Let it be small buffs to certain Playstyles.
Like for example the main imp buffs all wild imp with more mana or even gives them the Pact of the Imp Mother effect.
Or the main felhunter buffs the other dogs to bleed/dot the enemy doing shadowflame dmg.
Maybe Succubus is all about sacrifice and it buffs implosions.
As for the void walker being a tank is good enough I think.
Please blizz give us a choice as master summoners.
All current Felguard only talents can be revamped to work with all primary demons.
Soulstrike:
Imp: fire Blast or even conflagrate
Felhunter: claw attack like shred
Succubus: whip slap
Void walker: void touch
As an fel storm alternative:
Imp: either flame strike or rain of fire.
Felhunter: swipe or thrash (from druid used multiple times)
Succubus: whip storm
Void walker: void storm (like holding out one hand and focussing void energy to collapse around the target dealing AoE)
There is really no reason why the other primary demons couldnāt be empowered too in some way. As there are abilities in game that would make that possible, be it from other classes or enemies.
It wouldnāt make them stronger just give us more options to play with.
Especially as we get an interrupt via the general tree that is not bound to the felhunter.
