He’s in Draenor, and also in Outland. He actually looks much healthier after Draenor turned into Outland than he did in BRF. How the hell did he survive the explosion?
Same way as everyone else who survived the explosion? Last time I checked, there’s still lots of life remainizng on Outland.
Also, BRF Gruul is from an alternate universe. It’s not the same Gruul as the one on Outland.

Yeah, but it’s not filled with orcs and draenei anymore.
There are still Mag’har orcs living in Nagrand, Draenei living in Shattrath and Mok’nathal living in Blade’s Edge.

It’s an alternate Universe m8. Nobody cut his hand off in the main universe, that’s why he look better there.
Outland and Draenor are not same place and Draenor is not a vision of the past. It’s jump into different timeline which has different version of events. Similar, but different. Key word is - different.

the differences to the timeline are not suppose to be major though when they searching for a suitable timeline they found one with just some minor differences like grommash’s mate being dead, ner’zhul’s wife being alive etc any major difference happen because of Garrosh Hellscream
the original horde was a fel fueled abomination then iron horde rejected that destiny and thanks to garrosh became a tech empire instead
