How did Sargeras infect Aegwynns body and thus Medivh?
I’ve just read the story of medivh “The last guardian” and i the story (spoiler) went pretty much like this.
Sargeras Avatar entered after Aegwynn killed all the demons that hunted dragons back in the day, she shot a rainbow colored beam at him and it slowly consumed Sargeras avatar and Sargeras couldn’t stop the magic. But it was all a part of Sargeras plan because he somehow infected his soul in Aegwyn and laid dormant in her body til she eventually became pregnant and thus he took over Medivhs body and battled with medivhs conciense over who controlled the host (body).
But how did Sargeras infect Aegwyn in the first place? how did he? Anyone can explain it to me please?
Basically when Aegwynn defeated the Avatar she was likely very exhausted and drained from the battle, Allowing the Mad titan to send in his spiritual essence into her soul, Hiding there to recover from the damage he suffered from the battle itself.
It makes sense, considering Aegwyn was extremly overconfident aswell and didn’t even consider the posibillity.
But in other books spirits/souls/etc are a very visible altough transparent thing that can actually be seen. (as noted in the second invasion book).
So i have no idea how Aegwynn didn’t even notice the slightest thing in her body when turalyon and khadgar did when they fought against Terron Gorefiend in that book.
I might just take it as a story miss that they didn’t know how to explain it or smthing along those lines.
The most plausible explenation imo is that he was able to hide his presence after he died. or somehow when she moved his avatar into the tomb a part of his physical body nudged her and he was able to transfer a part of his soul that way.
Physically it’s understandable that he is able to transfer a part of his soul without her noticing. But not from range.
But then again Sargeras kinda has the “naruto complex”. He’s so overpowered so blizzard can bassicly have him do whatever overpowered thing he wants just cause he’s Sargeras.
