How did you come up with your Btag name?

How did you come up with your Btag name? Do you use the same name everywhere on the internet? Maybe you took inspiration from something nearby. Or you simply like to use part of your real name.

My main character in my old MMO needed a new name desperately cause I had realised how bad it was. So I went on trying to think of powerful elven women and what would fit one.

It’s my name :slight_smile: Back when Btags were added, I couldn’t think of anything clever, funny or whatever so chose something I wouldn’t forget :wink:

At some point many years ago I started using Puny themed names and it’s just kind of stuck. It all stared with WoW when I named my Paladin Punyelf because an Ogre called me that while I was levelling.

My dad’s nickname for me ever since I was really small. Always makes me happy to see it, I miss him saying that :slight_smile:

War cos Warcraft or whatever and then lore but swapped the letters cos why not

It’s because of an old friend of mine in WoW. He lived at home at the time and on skype when we were in voice, i could hear his mom stand near and found it hilarious to send him something weird, which he then had to explain to his mom. He would always shout DAMMIT Dim(Dim being the shortened version of my name).

Ah really you could choose? Back then I got just my first name assigned as my BTag name and never thought why I should change it.
