How do I choose my second pet?

Hi folks,

This is probably something that’s relatively easy to answer, but I can’t seem to find the solution no matter how hard I try. Maybe I’m not wording it correctly.

Basically, I have a night elf hunter with three pets (two nightsabers, and an owl). She’s a Beast Mastery spec, so she can have two pets out at the same time. I want to have her show one of her sabers as her main pet, and the owl as her second. No matter how hard I try, I can’t get that to happen. If I pick either of the sabers, the other saber appears. If I pick the owl, I always get one of the sabers.

Am I doing something wrong? This seems like it would be relatively easy to fix, but try as I might I can’t seem to get it.

The second pet is always the one in the first stable slot. So just talk to a stable master. Put your owl in the top left corner and then re-spec to survival. Just kidding about re-speccing(not really)

I’ve tried that multiple times, but it isn’t working - hence my utter confusion.

I see you are a woman of culture as well.

That’s quite odd, I didn’t have an issue with it when I tried on mine. Maybe try to report as a bug?

Entirely my own fault, I was being dense and failed to notice the difference between the stable itself and active pets. This is what happens when you haven’t played a hunter before and haven’t had any sleep. Thanks for the help though!

I usually call the “active pets” as “party” just to differenciate better between it and the stable.
