Hey all. I’m wanting to earn the Wrynn’s Vanguard Tabard but I’m getting a little confused with how to earn it in bfa.
I’ve been told during the wod tw event I can buy commendations from the vendor but I can’t get in game atm to check that out also I don’t believe that as isn’t this a pvp tabard?. I was told you had to take part in the ashran bg but I’ve also been told that’s been taken out in bfa (I don’t pvp so I don’t really know if its in game or not) so I throw myself on to you hoping that I can get a real simple answer to this question. “How do I earn this tabard in bfa”
PvP in Ashran, you can specifically queue for it in the battleground finder. Also hand in the Horde body parts for some extra rep. You loot them from player corpses.
It doesn’t take long to hit exalted.
I’m pretty sure you can’t buy rep tokens for them from the TW vendor though.
Yup, it’s like every other Tabard you can get, anyone on the Alliance can use it, you also get the Horde version.
Plus being exalted with Wrynn’s Vanguard gives the “Sword of Wrynn” title (which becomes “Spear of Vol’jin” on the Horde).
Ahem… Since Blizzard deactivated Ashran PvP, I believe if you haven’t earned the reputation with the Wrynn’s Vanguard before the deactivation, you will no longer be able to get it done? AFAIK Medallion of the Legion used to offer reputation with Wrynn’s Vanguard but other players seem to have confirmed it no longer does.
I am sorry to contraddict you… but I really fear that if you didn’t complete it before, then you are out of luck with this one.

A lot of the information online is really outdated, seems most people haven’t bothered to try since they put Ashran back so most people tend to think it’s impossible. But I did it during BfA so it’s 100% doable again.
Don’t do what I did, buying 100k worth in Medallions of Legion on my Alliance Alt Mage (wanted mount, Horde can use it too)… using them all to discover it no longer raised Ashran faction reputation due to the world content removal.
Was completely unaware of this… such a ridiculous change.
. Also do you know if I earn it do I unlock It in my ithe characters?
