hey, does anyone know if it is possible to check what name one had before migrating to another server?
Can’t remember what my name was on Zeviper before I took advantage of free migration from shadowmoon to haomarush.
Hi, yeah it is. If you look on the Transaction History page you should be able to see what your characters l name was, what realm and where they went.

i didnt pay for the transfer, it was free migration
Check your WTF folder and it might have the character settings still there.
If you have an addon that uses the profiles addon (like bartender) then you’ll still have entry for it.
That would have been a good way to do it. sadly this was back in 2008. Changed PC a couple of times after 2008.
You might be able to find the details in the data that Blizzard has collected on your character. You can request your data here:

It’s worth pointing out that you will get a massive file with litterally everything Blizzard has collected on you. If your migration information is stored anywhere, then it’ll be in this file too. But it takes a while to get through.
