I look on premade groups but they all say something like “Be good” or what seems to be random numbers??
Im stuck on this rogue getting gear, i tried pvp to get qonquest but we lost every match i was in and i get insta killed by some high geared players.
So the question is how do i improve my gear now? ty.
Kill both the world bosses each week. One drops 207 gear, the other drops 233 gear. Get to Korthia and kill all the rares, loot all the treasures etc for a chance at armanent’s, these give you 200 ilvl pieces of gear that can be upgraded, starting at being able to upgrade them to 220 ilvl.
As for getting in to Mythic dungeons, if you can’t join a group, make one. I think you can buy 200 ilvl gear off of the AH as well, plus you can buy 1 piece of 230 gear (You can only wear 1 piece.

Avoid any group that says ‘Be Good’ etc, as somebody that pugged his KSM months ago, I can say with all honesty that these are some of the worst players in the game.
Try looking for a guild on here that is into helping new players do mythics or find a community that is available to help you with mythics.
You can also get gear via the Korthia gear catch up system by doing the dailies, killing rares, and finding chests. Another option is doing the assaults where you get one piece of gear.
A last resort is the auction house to buy some catch up gear quickly.
Strongly suggest doing the weekly quest at vault. You currently get a 226 item reward with domination socket. At least, that’s what I got for the time walking event last week.
Killing world bosses and Korthia rares in combination with the daily quests there will also bring you some good gear options as already mentioned.
Regarding Mythic, just start on +2 really and see how it goes. You’ll get your own key to push afterwards though I’d suggest to join some random pugs between +2 and +5 no matter your gear level. Those lower M+ aren’t really hard to get into and everyone telling you to gear up for it and “be good” sounds pretty much like a tryhard.
However, there is a lot of toxic behaviour in higher M+, so be warned. Some people make it their ingame sport to flame everyone not living up their (often quite ridiculous) expectations in terms of performance or try to blame their own fails on boss mechanics on group members. Others show great skills in impatience / lack of solidarity and leave groups whenever a key is about to be depleated. Don’t let yourself get discouraged by it though. There are still many people kind enough to finish even depleated keys for vault. Can write that in your search description also.
A lot of the groups will be for mythic+ and the random numbers are probably either the level of the dungeon or people asking for certain rating. Try to look for groups with 0 or just mythic and not mythic keystone in the listings.
But as people have already mentioned the best place to start for some easy upgrades is Korthia.
1st of all know your class , you are playing with people they expect you to be good .
There are plenty of sites and info on the net to understand what are you doing .
I personally get invited to almost every pug i’m in because i performer flawlessly .
Also consider joining a “newbie friendly” mythic community or guild. Alliance has a very active one in Scared of Dungeons. Will provide a much more open and patient environment to learn the ropes.
PUGGing is precarious even for more experienced players still. I usually run with my community, but last night it was late so I thought “my rating is probably enough to find PUGs alright” so I listed my key a mists 10 and selected applicants. Got a nice healer and tank pair immediately and then selected 2 more dps on the basis of good rating individual for dungeon and overall.
End of boss two first DPS just never accepts ress after dying to the ball toss. Okay, we can still probably just about time it as we have ten minutes left on timer and we’re pretty solid. We get to space before last boss and other dps gets knocked off by acid and dies, and then goes “I’m out” and leaves. Tanks my key at last minute as the healer and tank then leave.
Everyone in the group had at least 1300 rating overall and at least 120 for the dungeon. It’s no guarantee for success. I mean I ain’t even as fussed about timing as some, I just wanted to finish it for the weekly counter. Thought a mists ten would be an easy sell but meh. Reminded me why I barely pug.
I can tell you what your mistake was. You picked people with “nice rating” . People with nice rating expect smooth flawless run. What you should Pick up is people with lower rating for whom even deplete would be rating upgrade . But be honest . You wanted to be carried and when they left you realise that got your key depleted
Just doing the Korthia dailies every day and killing the rares, opening the chests can give you alot of Cataloged Research which you can upgrade your gear with. If it’s upgradeable by that currency.
Also if you want to you could pug the first 3 bosses of the raid. They are really easy and I think you will get 233 gear at the Great Vault? Or 226. Either way it’s good to gear up alts or if you doesn’t have high ilvl already. But the pug could be really toxic if you don’t mind someone complaining if you do 1 thing wrong. That’s why I prefer raiding in Guilds.
Make your own group in the finder, put an item level minimum of 190/200 and wait for it to fill.
Done.
How about you piss off with your jaded assumptions? You don’t know me. The people had good rating for the key in question and I ignored several people with higher rating. As said I was unconcerned with timing, so carry me for what? My GV progress?
Carried? I was the highest dps in there by a country mile and wasn’t eating freaking dodgeballs and being yeeted off the platforms, yet someone I’m expecting a carry because I didn’t invite the guys with like 400 rating? Yeah, sod off.
If those people expected a flawless run then maybe they shouldn’t have died to the dodgeball aoes. The ones who left are the ones who screwed up and nobody gave them heat over the deaths, they just left.
Make buddies here. I see plenty of peeps wiuth the same problem. Id love to start mythics in a clueless group so no one can gloat at our noobishness lol. Thing is i have no time due to RL commitments. Or how about a community.
Thing is u will not becouse people to picky about mythic+ score that blizz added so gl 
I recommend you join a Community. These vary from social easing-going dungeons all the way up to mythic raiding.
I’m in one called Scared of Dungeons for people who found Puggin too toxic and stopped doing dungeons but are able to join together and do them in a non-toxic environment. There are similar ones to this out there such as Fail Train etc.
Ok so according to your profile
Don’t forget to always enchant your gear and gem to maximaze your dps
even if it’s just low ilvl ring or weapon still put enchant on it 
it will make your life easier
