me and my friend want to get the conqueror siegebreaker pauldrons but it wont let us play 25 and it keep switching to 10 man i think
It only has one raid size now, they removed the 10 and 25 man versions when they brought out the TW version. I lost a lot of achievement score when the change came. Let me see if I can dig up the old info.
so i cant get the gear piece i want now or what

I thought you can set the difficulty inside somewhat as in that you can ask for help in several places and if you don’t you get an extra loot chest at a few bosses?
Hard mode is different to raid size though.
Ulduar had “hard mode” on a boss-by-boss basis. If you do specific things on most bosses, like pressing the Big Red Button that Mimiron tells you not to press 
the bosses get extra mechanics or difficulty added. Or in one case if you kill the boss fast enough, you get two chests.
But that doesn’t affect raid size or loot.
BTW, I truly draw a blank on why they changed the original Ulduar to use the current raid size rules. Yes, I know for Timewalking, but it doesn’t seem to me that that required a change to legacy running.

Loot from 10 and 25 now drop in the same instance. I helped a guildie get the mount a few weeks ago.
This has got to be the stupidest change they could think of, and because of timewalking?
