How do I post screenshot in these forums ?

Edit: On 2nd thought that white flash is bit too much.

You need Trust Level 3 to post links, screenshots, etc.

Alternatively put them in preformatted text. (``)

You can’t unless you are trust level 3 or part of a beta.

You can use Preformatted text </>

And how do I use preformatted text to post a screenshot ?

You upload it to imgur (or some other hosting site), then use the pre-formatted text to give a link to it.

Until you reach VIP (green) status, or Trust Level 3 status, there is NO WAY to have your screenshot actually show as an image in your posts. All you can do is post links as preformatted text to it.

Can I pay Blizzard money to get the right to post images ?

If I post non-offensive replies to thousands of threads on these forums, do I get required Trust-level in a day or two then ?

You can’t.

Part of gaining TL3 is time gated behind not doing bad for some time. Not sure on the exact timings, because TL3 has never been a concern for me.

Edit2: Link removed by self.

As Trovlak has posted, it’s time gated.

If you post a preformatted link there’s a chance someone who can will post the image for you if it’s in the right forum etc. It’s done quite often in the General forum but probably not needed in this forum.

There’s also not really any need to post screen shots of bugs directly in the forums if that is what you are wanting, because the forums are not the place to report bugs in the first place.

For other things that require a screenshot, staff WILL follow your links if you give them a valid reason to.

Posting screenshots is just a “nice” privilege.

Also, what Anada said.

I want to post malware screenshot.

People posting malware is exactly why the privilege of posting things directly was gated behind a trust level.

Why are you saying this ?

Posting such content is not allowed in the forums, as it would tempt other people to follow malicious links, and thus endangering their account security.

If you want to report a malicious webpage, you can send all the info to our specialized team via email: hacks@blizzard.com

If you want to report a player that sent you a malicious whisper with a link in-game, please use the right-click feature on their name and select “Report player > Spam”.

You can find more info here: https://battle.net/support/article/269000

As other players already explained, there is no way to speed up the reputation system in the forums, but also the forums are not the best place to report malicious behaviours.

I want to post a screenshot that indicates malware, not the malware itself if thats what the blue-post and other in this thread is saying. … ?

Why use a screenshot? Why not just say what is happening, without URLs of course.

Yeah imagine having a support section where U already pay money to actually have right to write, yet you still need to shill to actually post pic about your issue kek

Anyone can post on the support section of the forums, regardless if they have active game time or not. So your statement makes no sense.
