I bought a character transfer token in the character selection of a season of discovery realm. apparenly those doesn’t work, i only play SoD so i want to get the payment refunded. Why do you sell it on the screen where it isn’t avaible?

It let me access the refund ticket, unfortunately i can’t choose the transfer token, only my sub.
The info does say written in small letters that it doesn’t work on seasonal realms, whoever it was sold to me from the character selection of a seasonal realm. that’s really really scummy if they aren’t refunding it.
On the refund page, just below where it showed your sub was there a link “I would like to request a refund on an order not shown here” and if so did you try that?
I beleive the reason the character transfer option shows in SoD is becuase the store can’t tell the difference between realm types. SoD is just a realm on the classic client.
If the refund page doesn’t work then your next option would be to open a ticket to CS but you may be waiting several days for a reply.
I did that and could only choose my subscription i opened a ticket, they replied fairly fast with i can only get a refund for what i can choose on that menu, and the transfer isn’t one of those. I replied back that that was the case and that i havn’t used it so it should be eligible for refund.
You are probably right that they can’t differentiate between realms, but it’s rather deceptive not having a warning in the text on that screen about seasonal content. Either way i hope they can cancel it or i guess i have to contact my bank, i’m not exactly floating in money to be able to pay for services i dfon’t even recieve
I STRONGLY recommend you think hard about contacting your bank, because Blizzard used to account-ban anyone who executes a chargeback.
By account-ban, I mean not just a WoW ban but also overwatch, and any other games you have that they make.
I’d make a follow reply re-explaining the situation and mentioning that the item is not showing up on the refund page.
I find that the first reply you get is usually just an automated/bot or copy & paste responce leading you back to the website or some other link but if you follow up with a reply you then get an actual person to read the ticket. (sometimes it takes a couple of follow ups).
You could do a charge back but that should be your last resort becuase as Trovlak already pointed out above, if you do that it may trigger a lock on your account or depending on the bank it may cause your bank to refuse future transactions with Blizzard.
Doing a chargeback on a service that you received may be considered a fraud, and could lead to account action, so I would advise against it.

Oh yes, because allowing customers to purchase character transfer tokens from your ingame shop interface with ZERO warnings concerning the SoD transfer restrictions is definitely NOT fraud… !
This is on the store page. It should say the same ingame. Make a suggestion ingame.

btw you can still use them, just not in SoD. To my recollection the seasonal realms have never had paid transfers, a little research on you part would have helped.
