How do i start over, from zero....a clean sheet (or slate)?

Alright, let me explain what i mean by starting-over:

I wish to delete everything that my account has regarding World of Warcraft:
-Achievements
-Pets,
-Mounts,
-Toys,
-Characters
-Deleted Characters (so i wont be able to restore them)
-etc…

Basically i want a fresh start…where everything is zero, null, void…just like a fresh new Warcraft account.
However i don’t want to loose this account since i also have Diablo 3 on it.
I don’t mind re buying the Warcraft game, but i don’t want to re buy 2 games.

And creating a new account just to have Warcraft on it…and Diablo an another account would be silly…

So how do i go about doing a “clean sheet (or slate)” with my current Warcraft account?
Any ideas?

YOU MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT!

What a silly idea to “delete everything”.
Warcraft is cheap anyway and just transfer your subscription funds to the new account.
Plus if you recruit yourself you get Recruit A Friend rewards out of it!

Win/Win!

You can’t. The only way is to make a new account.

It might be silly…i agree, but i had soooo many character created and deleted since 2009 (when i started) that i feel like i could never have a main character since any character i made didn’t go through all the story since 2009 up to now, and my achievements are not all earned by Blixie…but rather from other alts that no longer exist…and its just a mess… I like to have it organized, and have 1 character that has done it all…not 1 for Wrath…1 for Legion, 2 for BFA, etc…
It could be my OCD talking…but it seems “cleaner” for me if only 1 character has done it all…

Look, mate. I understand.
It is silly because you literally cannot do it in game.

Its impossible!

i did that once…horrible lag …so much so that i could not play

No idea why everyone is saying that you cannot… you can by simply making a ticket and asking the gm to delete everything. Blizzard can remove licenses on your account on request.

Doesn’t adding a starter edition work? And then just purchase the BFA again.

You make a new account but you DON’T connect it to your current one.

You can add another WoW account to your Blizzard Account, though I believe you still retain cross promotion and Blizzcon rewards.

BTW you can have another Blizzard account while keeping the one you have intact, just seems like a hassle switching between them though.

Dude, whatever it is, it can’t be that bad…
Even beeing cought in Goldshire is bad, but not that bad

Account wide stuff? The GMs will not delete everything. You cannot remove single licences, besides, account wide stuff. Even with no Warcraft accounts it will still be there.

The only way to start completely over again like it brand new is to use another Blizzard account.

You don’t know that for sure so I don’t know why you need to reply. If he raises a ticket and says that he would like his achievements wiped and says that it’s because of mental health they will definitely offer to do it. Worst case is that they have to delete the WoW license as well which OP does not mind. He can also offer to send proof of ID for verification.

OP can you please do this and let us know if it worked so we can settle who is right?

We can remove starter accounts and I know you can request your battle net to be completely removed and all data but I’m not sure about something in between.

You could try asking in the Customer Support forum if it’s possible as they have far better account knowledge in general. Or as Abyzou has suggested you can just file a ticket and try a GM.

Actually I do, I remember a long time ago someone wanted a Warcraft account removed from their Battle.net account, The GMs couldn’t do it so the player came and complained on the forums.

Again, I have seen people post that they have asked for this and Blizzard would not do it, mental health issue or not.

All they can do is delete the whole account. That includes any other games they have.

I too have similar issues with my obsessive nature, I recently started afresh on a new account after 12 years of playing and am progressing through each expansion one by one in order to ‘complete’ them in a way that satisfy’s my let’s say quirky needs.

One thing I would say is have a look at the addon ‘Character Achievements’ which enables you to see individual character achievements. That might be exactly what you are looking for but if not feel free to come join me in my guild over on Turalyon/ Doomhammer on your new account!

Remember that with a fresh start you won’t have any legacy achievements.

Good luck friend. Starting anew is rough, but if you really feel like you want it, then I wish you best of luck.
