I keep constantly getting the adddon error pop up every time i go into combat which is beginning to get so annoying. I dont know what its saying theres an error when all my addons work fine.
i turned on the lua error script thing and i get about 11 pages of errors which i find hard to believe since all my addons are well known and up to date ones, i check for updates daily.
is there anyway to just stop this annoying popup? thanks.
Bugsack and buggrabber addons
You’ll have to turn them off one by one, until you find which is faulty.
Simpler - turn them all off and switch one on at a time until you get one or more to fall over. Then report to the relevant authors with a full list of all the add-ons you use, for them to check for incompatibilities.
Solutions
Type /console scriptErrors 0 in chat and press “Enter” to turn off all Lua Error messages, I’ll recommend that you also do a /reload after using the first command.
or you could use this AddOn AdvancedInterfaceOptions, to get more UI customization options alongside the option to off Lua Error Messages.
or you can use the alternative provided by Bulldozer and get Bugsack/Buggrabber to block duplicates Lua messages.
Or you could try to troubleshoot your AddOns to find out which AddOn or AddOns maybe causing the Lua Error Messages, like Atriohm suggested.
The addon’s name and which line is wrong is given in LUA error. go try to fight i.e. a target dummy and take a look of said error notice. then disable/update the addon.
Your using tidyplates arnt you?.. Well if you are remove it and install Neatplates same thing just better and updated.
There was an addon in the past error lua or smthing like that , try searching those addon sites .
