In Duncan’s Textiles, in Stormwind, I can only learn linen recipes, everything else needs Cataclysm Tailoring. What gives?
Obv not Duncan.
Sry couldn’t resist.
The new recipies get unlocked as your skill goes up in tailoring… If you scroll further down the list, you’ll get past the cataclysm and to old world recipies.
I think they unlock at skill lvl 20 - 35 - 50 -65 - 75… or somthing like that, they have some large jumps betweem them
Edit: If you visit the first aid trainer (bandage triner) you’ll unlock bandage training, it can speed up the process, if you lvl your tailoring skill up with bandage produktion
Is this the NPC you’re seeing? He should teach wool as well. Do you have the filters in the top-right corner of the panel set to All?
P.S. Moothilda is right. For some strange reason, he’s showing my tailor Cata recipes first. Scrolling down reveals Wool and Silk and Mageweave and so on recipes, but not in the order I’d expect.
He’ll show the lowest level first but the cata ones are from 1 to 75 iirc while the vanilla ones are from 1 to 300.
He’ll thus show you all the cata ones before the other vanilla recipes.
I know it’s not that great but it’s working
For some stupid reason Blizzard messed up professions in BfA, now not only are lower expansions professions mostly useless but now you have to go to the expansions main city to learn them.
Well said, but I suspect it was less stupid than devious.
