He is gladiator exp because he has a Gladiator achievement and is also higher exp’d than you in every rated arena bracket. I’d take you slightly more seriously if you actually got to even 2.4+ yourself last season. You didn’t, whether that’s because you couldn’t or didn’t want to is something that only you know, but you repeatedly looking to ridicule people who have done more than you is slightly embarrassing.

Season goals and immediate goals are not the same thing. My goal at the start of a new season or on a new class is to get 2.1 in the first week, my season goals are gladiator. A 268 ilvl player right now is not currently playing for 2.4, he is playing for upgrades as he confirmed. And then when only he has his upgrades can he effectively push for 2.4.

I proved that they got Gladiator and/or 2.4+ in non inflated seasons whilst being lower this season.

I proved that I got Gladiator this season just as easily as I did last season, and remain firm in the belief that the quality of games this season is lower than last season.

Yea it was same with me when we had a discusion on gearing topic , but after it i came to the same conclusion. You did present your point very well, which is also very logical point in my opinion but some people just like to generalize and put all people in the same boat instead of judging individually. It is very logical that there is more than 1 reason because of which you might not achieve the same rank every season as:

1. Real live priority changes;
2. Lack of motivation ;
3. having more fun in lower brackets;
4. Inflation…

To name a few. But some people just take some examples of inflation and put everybody else in the same boat which is just wrong, as you explained.

By the logic i gathered from this rather special discussion, Do I deserve a s2 glad mount from since im a duelist in s3? Coming from someone who 90% of the time he ques arena is just to relax with his friends. Its fine that last season was inflated, but to devalue someone’s accomplishment without knowing their motivations for currently playing is kinda cringe imo. But I guess we gotta be super tryharding to watch over our rating in this game? It’s all fine that some of us only plays the game for fun, leaves more rating to be gained for those who’s motivated to push it
