How do secondary stats affect my demons? Do they benefit from haste, crit, and vers?
Imps scale well with haste indirectly, obv mastery too. I don’t think there is really any benefit from crit and it seems like pretty bad stat anyway. Don’t think there is any interaction with vers either.
At the moment Demo locks are scaling weirdly with health, the meta for locks right now is to run with stamina gear/ trinkets and this buffs your demons damage.
Almost every demon directly scales from your stats
- Haste
- Versatility
- Crit
You have 10% haste, then your demons will strike and cast faster, and on top of that, main/Prime demons will have faster energy regeneration.
But there is two specific demons that have issues with stats - Fel Lord and Observer.
Fel lord doesn’t scales from your HP - he always has 11k HP, no matter how much stamina you has or how high your iLvl is.
On top of that, he sometimes have issues with haste, because his swings - felcleave, from time to time doesn’t lower their cast time with your haste, it is an issue since Beta that was reported numerous times already.
Then observer and Fellord have a glaring issue where they seems don’t get defence bonuses from Versatility, on top of the fact, that both demons doesn’t have Avoidance, it makes them really questionable PvP choices
As long as you take Demonic Consumption talent. It increases damage by 15% of demons’ health and it seems to be multiplied by the number of demons. Naturally, it is going to get increased with better gear due to increased stamina but any “health” trinket will increase the damage as well.
Demonic Consumption shouldn’t be a talent, the Tyrant should hit like a Truck all the time.
