I’m not quite certain on how this works…I plant my wildseed…then I put a cataclyst to increase rewards…later when I go to my wildseed I get a novice satchel as I would have gotten if I didn’t put the cataclyst in…do you need to put the cataclyst up right before the wildseed is ready as they seem to be gone before the wildseed is done? Or do you need to renew the cataclyst once it’s finished for it to have effect like it would sort of stack?
I’m not 100% certain but I think you have to place the catalyst in a plot adjacent to where you will put the seed (so catalyst first). You’ll see it starts empowering the plot where the wildseed goes. Then you just place the wildseed in that empowered plot.
I did that and then this sort of beam goes to the wildseed but then later on the catalyst dissapears before the seed is done…does the seed lose it’s buff then and are you ment to plant the catalyst right before the seed is going to hatch or something?
No, the seed keep the buff, but you cant add more
There is the farest seed with 2 patch, with 2 temporal leaf catalyst, you can lower the gestation to 1 day, but even tho’ the temporal leaf catalyst disapear, and you add another one, that will not add as a 3rd buff (nor apply to the next seed, its a wase, better to wait for the harvest and then add the catalyst)
Still weird I put a cataclyst to increase loot and got a novice satchel then
Yeah, actually “wasting” Greater spirits not really worth it untill you reach higher or even max level conservatory
I’m not that sure the whole Conservatory worth it - the faun girls soulbind, nautre’s bounty ability that gives you satchels full of fish and meat and leather and herbs randomly after a kill produce more than the satchels you get after 3 day wait
The most I got after the catalyst was a whooping… 10 bones from the satchel
Maybe after rank 3-4 will be better? I don’t know (but save my greater souls for the moment)
But so far its pretty underwhelming
It’s surprises me, how nobody reads quest text and then asks these questions or is clueless about the systems, that were clearly explained there.
You need to place catalyst before you infuse the wildseed. The wildseed gets empowered by nearby catalysts when placed, and cannot be empowered by the new ones, that are placed after it.
You don’t have to be smug you know…
Giving an answer without being a jerk is totally an option and it reduce the toxicity of the forums…

Thank you for your snooty answer. Now then explain to me why I got a novice satchel after empowering a wildseed with a cataclyst to increase loot by 100%?
That’s because you placed the catalyst AFTER infusing the spirit into the wildseed. You need to place the catalyst BEFORE you infuse the wildseed with the spirit.
First plant catalyst. Then plant wildseed. Different combos award different rewards. Transmogs from specific themes from each zone in shadowlands.
I saw a nice wowhead guide on it. First result on Google
But Tldr. Don’t use the conservatory till it’s lvl 4
I did plant the catalyst first. Still got a novice bag with 6 deathroots in it. lvl 2 atm though
Because lvl 2 grants that. . Your 3x wild seed must the the one that boosts quantity or quality of items and a lvl 4 garden, so it gives epic transmog
Oh alright…guess I will leave it alone til it’s level 4 then
This is what annoys me not just from a practical point of view (as in the rewards you get) but also from a logical perspective. I just rescued your soul, nurtured it back to life and you give me 3 fish for the trouble wtf?
Not to mention the amount of anima it costs to create/upgrade it…
