pop all potion,trinket,bubble,rocket boots, vanish, shield, spell reflect, heroic leap, uber driver, alt-f4, pray to God and just yeet it the hell away from them into a pack of friendlies/city guards, find an inn, log out and hide under your bed.

Use trinket and defensive CDs. Then fight back. Easy
If you don’t have those, you die vs everything, not just rogues.

Besides open with 1.2 sec apocalypse, rogue has million other ways, to do same damage again, but now you have no trinket

The usual method is ‘sit in stun until you’re dead’. Alternative method is ‘get SAPped for 23 seconds, then die in stun’.
There’s a third way - use ‘trinket’ to get out of some sap or stun, get 1 hit in, then die in stun.
If you practice hard, you can soon master all methods, then you can teach others how to deal with rogues. It’s that simple!
P.S. I once heard a mythological legend about The One, who was able to actually trinket, stun the rogue, escape 100 m, and it was only THEN that the rogue instantly teleported to The One’s buttocks and stunkilled The One.
Yes, rogues are more powerful than The One.

Rogues are honestly one of the main reasons I don’t do much pvp these days.
I just don’t see the appeal in facing teams that lately have been almost 50% rogue in normal battlegrounds, at least 25% rogue in most epic battlegrounds; and spending almost the entire game stun locked and instant killed by the little buggers by randomly sapping you, one/two shotting you and instantly vanishing before even team mates can hit them.
general consensus seems to be; you don’t deal with them. You just hope they’re not in the group you’re fighting or YOUR team has the over powered little kidney kickers.

You have to trinket cheap shot instantly and CC them or pop an immunity. If you don’t, you will die in a stun. TBH though, no matter what you do, you won’t win 1v1 vs a rogue unless they make mistakes. Rogues just need some more nerfs.

pvp in this game should not be balanced 1v1 !! so rogues should be strong in 1v1 specialy vs ranged classes like hunters or locks. this game should be MMO… that means how you counter rogue when he opens on you ? you get buble from paladin or healed from healer or somebody else stun the rogue. Every class supposed to have pros and cons. I am up for hunters being able to one shot me from a range if they have no self peel and die to rogues. So dont ask for 1V1 gameplay in MMO
You queue up and hope the other team doesnt have them, If they do gg enjoy the bad experience even if you win.
