How do you deal with your pet just disappearing?

Title. It’s driving me nuts. I turn around, pet gone. Enter instance, pet gone. Leave instance, pet gone. Take a portal? Pet gone. Level up? Pet gone. Blink, pet gone.

Why is it like this? I feel like the keybind for my pet on my keyboard is wearing thin.

Hello. Here are detailed steps on how to deal with your pet constantly disappearing:

  1. Make a bug report.
  2. Have the bug report ignored.
  3. Make a forum post.
  4. Have the post ignored.
  5. Use this macro and hope for the best:
    #showtooltip
    /cast [nopet]Raise Dead;Dark Transformation

(If the ghoul is not up, the first click summons it, and the second uses Dark Transformation. If the ghoul is up, the button serves as Dark Transformation only. That way you don’t have to constantly spam summon.)

Optional next steps:
6. When you get bored of using the macro as well choose one of the following sub-options:
6a. Hope for the fix harder.
6b. Play different spec.
6c. Play different class.
7. Repeat from step 1?
