Im starting to be sick of higher rated pvp, so I make a lot of alts, troll around at lower ratings, farming elite transmogs and such, but I realized Im kinda out of gold and without tons of gold its kinda hard to get a legit character together. What do you do to make gold to finance your alts? Ive tried to farm mining and herbs inbetween queues, but I realized all these materials are totally worthless. I refuse to pay Scamzzard for tokens.
If you just want gold for crafting and not gametime, i recommend dragonriding races they each give 500 gold and some world quests give like 1k a pop mostly pvp ones.
If you have an alt army, you can make a decent amount with the dragon races as Aryash mentioned, herbing/mining the titan-touched ores/herbs inbetween queues, I wouldn’t go for much of the other stuff though, spending excess honor on blues to vendor (not that much gold, but if you pvp a lot on many chars it adds up)
You can also stack up on conquest on as many chars as possible, then by season end buy boxes and send to a char with enchanting and get DE’ing (This is of course more for future use, but it’ll help setting you up for the next season)
I looked into crafting, but to be able to craft orders, I need recipes that are mostly like dozens of gold to buy. The lower crafts seem to be worthless. So what do you craft? I noticed the quests, but its like 600-700g each and it resets daily? didnt see anybody in the pvp zone quests when i checked. Ill check if its doable without actual pvp.
Hm, I will check the races then. I play this season for like third week, so there is no way I have excess of conquests nor honor tbh. Does enchanting make any money? I tried disenchant at the start of DF, but the material was close to zero value, so I ditched it.
You can park characters at the tuskarr feast and when it’s up do it real quick for the weekly quest for doing 5 chores, which takes 2 mins per character, so you can do 5+ characters every feast, if they are already at the location. The bag you get from that contains the flask double duration embellishment, which has a decent drop chance, sells for 50k+ on the AH and it sells quick. You can do that once per week with every max lvl character you have (not sure if lower lvls also drop it, probably not but unsure). It’s barely any effort and will net you a good amount of gold.
Hm,that sounds interesting. Honestly I couldnt figure out how the feast even work. I always have q done and it tells me to participate in some feast, but there is nothing happening in that zone whatsoever. It it some kind of specific time of event only?
You can do the feast quest and it can drop even from lvl 60 characters x)
It’s on a timer and when it’s on, you just stand next to the cooking pot and the guy will give you tasks. All you gotta do is fulfill 2 of these tasks, since getting a task also counts towards quest progress. Most of the tasks are just “run to npc x and buy y for 10s, run back to the pot and toss it in”.
