Odyn (Odin / Wotan) is a Norse / German god though based on sources of the Edda. So are Helya (Hel) and the Val’kyr (Valkyrier / Walküren). And may I add, the way Hel is portrayed over and over again in modern narratives is pretty annoying… u.u

Kinda goes hand in hand with Odin in norse mythology: When he received Mimer’s eye and saw visions of Ragnarök, he went pretty paranoid, doing everything he could in his power to prevent it from coming to pass
