How do you feel wow compares to other mmo’s on the market currently?

If you like pvp, then gw2, You have to be patient and get to try elite specs first though
Not all of them, and GW2’s main issue is exactly lack of seasonal content (IMO).
I think it’s one of the best, probably THE best, but this doesn’t mean there aren’t other games who do some things better than wow. It’s just that wow, on average, has a better score on almost everything and compensates for the things it’s a little far behind than others. I personally loved Wildstar more, but it got deleted so that is no longer an option.
That said, I think it’s more fair to compare it to video games in general: with wow I often have this feeling that when something is fun, I say “wow, it’s like a real video game” which is very odd to say the least. Many single player games are indeed more fun, but on the other hand don’t feel like they’re worth investing much time because there is no social aspect, and it plagues my mind to think about it.
But it is true. There many better games out there that respect you and your time more, and are more fun. But I always go back to wow sooner or later - though I’m not sure that’s the smartest behaviour on my part. I do think that the competitive nature of the endgame of wow is the death of fun incarnate, unless you’re doing it with friends (but this also applies for other games with the same formula, like monster hunter or whatever), so I try to stay away from that atleast.
And what your char looks like without gem store fashion is below mid in a game that is KNOWN for fashion.
Dude, like a fusion such as the beekeeper/queen, that you stack, goes for 50k a pop. That is at minimum 2 months grind. And that is one of the lamer effects.
You want to be as disco as possible. Walking lightsshow is the goal. I stopped playing earlier this year because my eyes couldn’t take it anymore, and turning off effects makes the game lifeless.
No. It looks good and I get a lot of compliments all the time. There is expression in the style with different dyes and so on
I also play not that long, only half year and I already have 1 k gold. If I play longer or will go out of my way to do some metastatic char will look even better. Now my char looks good for the amount of hours I played. I could easily convert my gold into gems but I don’t really care that much of fashion from gem store
My char transmog looks better than my characters from wow that I played since SL so idk what’s your point
Yeah, i burn out too then drop the game for 5-6 months then plays too much a month or 2… rinse and repeat.
Yes, you can try elementalist as there is no weapon swap in combat, engineer. Also, bladeswarn from warrior
But honestly, weapon swap is something you can get away with not doing it, unless you do somewhat challenging content, as you will always have some weapon that is the strongest for you. Or, you can do it later as you get comfortable
Here, I can’t show all levels of fractals as I don’t do them and you have to unlock(I just do pvp and open world stuff)… so we will not be able to know. But I showed other stuff and q times for pvp, for ranked match in the end it came so fast I could not even cancel
