In such emails received, they (Blizzard) really should quote the message you’re being put on forced forum vacation for so that you’re not left in any confusion about the matter.

No, I answered, an American company deemed a British mild swear word to be not permitted on the forum.
However you somehow want to turn that into the UK is sensitive when it has absolutely zero to do with the UK. Blizzard is an American company.

I’m very confused. I’m pretty sure I’ve used the p word + off meaning really really fed up on the forums before. It’s not considered swearing in any way amongst myself and … anyone I know in real life I guess.
I wonder what other words I’ve used that aren’t swearing to me but are to other people … #genuinelyconfused

It’s clearly not on the actual filter as the words appeared in full. However that has never been unusual with a US filter system. Several words could bypass the filters on the old forums. As it used to auto remove swearing and make it symbols I’d take great delight in finding ones that weren’t on it.

I presuming you did not make a ticket about it? I also had a situation similar and I was dumbfounded about it. I didn’t mind the punishment but I was simply no idea what I did wrong. So I wrote a ticket and asked specifically what I wrote which was against ToS so I don’t step on the “same rake” twice.
The staff was quite forthcoming with the details as well.

I think maybe if they get enough feedback like this as well they might consider including the information when there is no suspension applied, which seems to generate an email.

Did you ticket it through the game though? I can’t find any way to reply to the flag message at all? One-way communication by the looks of it.

Would be nice yeah. At least a link to your offending message(and if the exact offending text highlighted) would be awesome. Punishments have 0 value if you have no idea what you are punished for.
Can’t learn from them mistakes if you don’t know your mistake in the first place.
