So I’m sure this has been posted a million times but I just don’t understand how you are meant to get pvp gear as horde unless you either have no life and can sit in 40 min queues, to lose most of them for 20 honor or be geared enough to get into a premade, which there aren’t many of.
This literally kills the game for me as I don’t have much interest in pve, mainly wanted to gear for pvp but with work and some sort of life it is actually impossible to get gear at any reasonable pace.
I’m all for a grind, but it’s going to literally take hundreds of hours to get full gear???
I am missing something of why this hasn’t been changed??
You really don’t need that much pvp gear to play arena, honestly just a trinket and you can start getting arena points to gear up over time, while supplementing it with the occassional off set piece from honor every now and then
How many item slots are there in total where you really need honor gear?
The blue pvp set is not really good and way too expensive, plus you can get it almost for free in the next season.
You also can farm arena points in parallel that should also occupy one or two item slots.
Then there are 5 off-set pieces that you can get (back, wrist, belt, boots, neck) for honor.
These 5 items i would recommend for pvpers and maybe 2 from the blue set for the no-lifers.
So you don’t even need that many honor items realistically.
I just used to do the bg daily every day over the long run you can get another item. There are many players who aren’t really full pvp equipped and i think that’s fine.
Would you have a reason to play once you are fully equipped in pvp gear?
924 hours? Are you people insane, I have 75K honor on my fresh druid right now. From 0 to 75K in the last 2 weeks, working full time and playing a 3-4 hours per day on weekdays and 6-7 on weekends. You will average 900-1200 honor per hour if you queue three battlegrounds. This is the easiest thing to test ever.
On an interview with Holly Longdale, they stated that prior to the end of Season 1, they were going to “reduce the cost of arena and honor gear”, we have no idea by how much though, since nothing was ever confirmed.
Those prices were changed quite a few times already, so we cannot really know what is it going to be when it actually releases.
If you check on the PTR right now, the prices seems to be wrong, since all Honor gear now costs the full price again, while S1 gear also costs the full price (instead of the 50% discount) and, behold, S2 gear got an update aswell! Every single S2 item now costs 9999 arena points, and the rating requirement is 9999.
Lmao. Right, with this, and that one solitary blue response (in a thread about having fun with the game, rather than addressing any of the numerous complaints about the game) now has me convinced that they’re just trying to piss us off on purpose.
it all depend on how fast you wants to get your full gear via honor.
if u r no lifer? it won’t take you more than 1week.
if you’re playing only ~3hours everyday? that would be avg of 2.5k honor perday due queue, u could go kill in the open world while queue’d for +1k honor. ^ that will be 3weeks.
if you think 3weeks is to slow to get the gear when u only play ~3hours a day? that’s your problem! & if u just want the full gear without even playing? then wait till phase2 & Buy it with gold.
