How do you kill last boss on Azure Vault tyranical?

Just spent an hour on the last boss of Azure Vault on a 17 ended up giving up as it felt near impossible to kill, think we got it to 20% roughly and that was a stretch.

The slow debuff, the constant dodging of orbs with thundering and the crystals to kill. Feels like there’s too much in terms of mechanics, take one away and that boss becomes 10 times better and more manageable. dmg wasnt an issue with the boss it just got the point where we were overrun by orbs that it just became too much. Feels like this boss is a tad overtuned and thats only talking about the last boss of AV, im starting to think this whole dungeon has alot of boss issues with too much uptime on ads and not the boss or the 3rd boss just jumping into the middle every 60seconds.

Would be good to get other peoples opinions on it all cause at the moment AV seems like a dead key from 16+ this week

This boss is arguably hardest DF dungeon boss. It looks very easy at first glance but on higher difficulties it requires gear and 1 party member with prio/single target class/built because if you can’t kill that boss within a given time, mechanics becomes near undodgeable.

Both dungeon and this last boss requires some ‘tunning’. 17 is very high difficulty right now, we can time 14 but 15 is not possible for us.

Multiple people with 4 piece tier set and 405+ ilvl in your group, that’s how you kill it.

Considering some people have it timed on a 20 it’s definitely possible. Wouldn’t say it easy tho :joy:

Agree, absolutely awful boss to heal as an evoker. I’m range limited, so I have to constantly move around, on a fight that punishes movement. While also having to move to clear Thundering. And to dodge breath. And to dodge big blue swirly. And to escape the floaty orbs that will randomly decide that my time has come and proceed chase me down relentlessly. And if I dispell myself to be allowed another 20yds of movement, I now can’t dispell the tank debuff.

Worst tyrannical boss I’ve done by far, in a dungeon that has two other awful tyrannical bosses just before that.

Nothing worse than movement impairing. It ads to the difficulty and it is annoying at same time.

They need to take away some of the orbs and make the slow less impactful

Evoker range needs to get buffed

Guardians need magical damage mitigation

And why is the stomp a magical attack?

Same experience for us
After about 5 minutes you are just cornered and surrounded by orbs and desperately trying to reach shards

Not interested in ‘some people did a 20+’
It should not take the best players on planet earth to time a +15

Nearly all bosses are overtuned by 15%

Tell on your druid, shape shift, have a ranger post around, so you can kill all shards now.

Oh brother, i feel your pain haha, hpal player and when people run out of range (which is typical on this boss) you can’t heal them at all and it stresses me tf out haha, even tho beacon helps a ton, it still got a range, but i feel your pain with your 30 yard cap (comeon blizz, give the lizard lads some more love here)

They should maybe nerf it down a bit or scale that fight down (the room i mean) so it’s easier, idk

Orbs should disappear once they’ve hit someone.

How do you kill a tree on tyrannical?
Went to AA, failed the tree all the time.
Got frustrated.
Got drunk.
Cried a lot.
Went to AA meetings after that. No trees there.

Get everyone to use the shocking potion, I can’t remember the full name and I’m not at my PC right now but having people pop it on the adds make a massive difference.

Potion of Shocking Disclosure is good but should not be required to kill Overgrown Ancient

Another boss that is a complete joke and will get nerfed

Just because something is too hard for you to do it doesn’t mean it should be nerfed. It’s supposed to be hard. If they nerfed it so everyone could do it then it would just be stupid.

Overgrown Ancient (tree boss) is one of the worst bosses and it is way too overtuned! Almost all dungeons need to nerf to bottom, way too overtuned!

Isn’t the whole point of it that it is hard and takes many many wipes to do? Otherwise there is no sense of achievement or reward if just anyone can do it no effort. Might as well just give everyone the best gear as soon as they hit 70, doesn’t mean anything anymore with how you want it nerfed to ground.

You’re missing the point we are trying to make:
We aren’t just asking for nerfs to make anything easy.

We are pointing out the inconsistency and difference when comparing 2 dungeons at the same level.

On Tyrannical, a +15 on Algeth’ar Academy trash feels about right.
Vexamus feels about right. The last boss is too easy.

And Overgrown Ancient is practically impossible. It is so overtuned it’s a joke.
It was already extremely difficult last week even before Tyrannical.

On Tyrannical, a +15 on Shadowmoon Burial Grounds has trash that is too easy.
But the bosses feel ‘about right’ this week, maybe still a bit too easy.

So - should Raging Tempest, Overgrown Ancient and Umbrelskul be nerfed?
Yes, absolutely - without question.

Why? Because they are ludicrously more difficult than anything else
Even compared to other content from within the same dungeon.

It is not an opinion, it is a correct mathematical reality, obvious to everyone.

as a druid you can shapeshift. BUT of course not as the tank :see_no_evil:
When i heal in that dungeon i shift into cat dps a bit shift out heal and so on

On Umbreskul i barely need to heal actually. What I do on this boss is keeping Dispell on Cool down looking who gets chased by orbs
