When i go to the pet trainer i have everything trained but my wolf only has bite and furious howl and the boar i tamed only has charge.

Is a quest somewhere for this, I think. Go to trainer in main capital maybe.
You have to learn abilities by taming other animals who have those abilities - e.g you tame a young forest bear to learn Claw lvl 2
If you look at the Petopia web site it lists all the animals and the abilities you can learn - and the abilities each type of animal are able to learn.
When you tame an animal you have to hunt with it till you see a system message saying the animal has learned the specific ability (e.g. “Your pet has learned Claw level 2” or something like that…).
If they give level 60 test character those abilities should be already learned. Unfun for level 60 to go tame pest all over before testing begin 
May be OP just need to teach his/her pets those abilities??
Go open spellbook => Genral => Pet training (sling shooter) I think there you have option to teach pets all abilities
