He’s never up AND can spawn in a wide area do you just fly around for 12 hours and hope for the best ?
It’s like the only thing that’s harder than everquest classic at least pained soul you could sit in one place…

Yes, that’s exactly what camping rare spawns means.
I have never seen fumlub or whatever his name is (the guy in Borean geyser field), EVER. It is the only one i miss on retail and i did not see the damn guy for 10 years (then i quit retail in 2018). And i havent seen him in classic either.
Some rares are just rares.
I used to see him all the time flying around the edge of the salt flats area, then again, my realm was almost empty, even though it was connected. I even saw him on full realms during the early morning.
I think there are two types of Rare, normal Rares and rare Rares that hardly ever appear and that Dino is one of the latter.
Try switching layers.
How can I trigger that on purpose?
Layers can be twitched by joining a group with the party leader in a different layer.
