How do you unlock the extra 3 hidden artefact appearances nowadays?

I mean these requirements:

• 30 dungeons using hidden artifact appearance
• 200 world quests using hidden artifact appearance
• kill 1,000 players using a hidden artifact appearance
  Do I have to transmog my weapon to the hidden appearance of my spec to count? Or would I have to actually wield the artifact weapon? And do I have to do Legion dungeons and world quests, or any expansions are fair game?

Have to be legion dungeons and WQ’s and you don’t have to have the legendary weapon with you, or even transmog.

dungeons yes, but i have done that on my druid doing BFA and SL wqs too. it was fixed?

anyway, you don’t need to have the weapon transmogged on anything. once you unlocked the secret appearence on your artifact, you will need to complete those requirements, no equipping/tmogging needed!

no.
it’s just a special artifact appearence that you need to unlock in a specific special way.
