How do you workout percentages

Hey all, I’m trying to find a source that will explain what percentage we need per stat for each class but I can’t find anything anywhere.

Its easy to find out priority but when it comes to the amount of each I’m completely lost.

Can any one help or advise?.

Many thanks

Why no Disc Priest? We do exist!

It’s dps only. Healing is hard to sim, because it’s mostly reactive(or proactive, but in both cases depends on the fight too much)

Google is your friend.

Typical trade channel reply tbh and really unhelpful .

At OP if you are talking stat weights and breakpoints try the spec/class discord you want to check on or go to icyveins .

You will find lots of helpful pinned info here

I tend to sim myself to get my stat weights, I resim every time I get gear.

I use:-

https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/simulationcraft
https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/pawn

And I use the site https://www.raidbots.com/simbot to do the simming.

Theoretically there’s a perfect balance but that changes with each point and even encounter. As Punyelf suggested, the only available way would be to sim your gear but then again your play would affect that much more.

In fact others play would have a greater impact on your performance. For example. if you’re melee and you get a tank that likes to take the boss for unexplained walks; that disconnect for a second or two can really mess with buffs and timers.

0/10, wouldn’t use again

Ummmmm I’ve never simmed before is it easy to do?

You can use the following link to sim yourself, just fill in your realm and character name:

A recent simulation I ran for your character targeted for dungeons is here:

Instead of simming, just copy the best player in the world for your class. For example on my demon hunter I’ve 100% copied asmondh for m+. Same stats, trinkets and azerite pieces.

Have a look on wow progress .com

ummmmm i just simmed but i dont understand the results .

Weapon DPS 7.84
Agility 1.51
Haste 1.06
Mastery 1.05
Critical Strike 0.99
Versatility 0.87
Off Hand Weapon DPS 0.74

Any chance someone could explain to me because im really really lost.

Main priority is agility, then haste, mastery, critical, versa.

A statweight is the relative power of that stat vs other stats.

So based on that information your stat priority is

Agility > Haste > Mastery > Crit > Versa

Haste and Mastery are very close for you.

To add to this, It’s basically how much dps you’ll gain from each. So 1 point of agility will increase your dps by 1.51 etc.

LOL 40% haste…I wish… I am at 20% crit, 15% haste and 40% mastery on my main. I want reforging back…

but im still confused i wanted to know how much of each i needed…does it matter then should i just focus on the priority

The numbers change every time you swap a piece. So just concentrate on top priority.

As stated by Punyelf and others, use raidbots to optimise your gear. With raidbots+simcraft add-on you can also find the best gear on your bags.

With war/titanforging and sockets it’s very hard to have a BiS list. Also, there is the case that an item might be a sidegrade, stronger in a situation like an m+ for example while another is stronger in a raid fight. Also war/titanforging makes stat weights a bit tricky as well, so don’t be to obsessed about them.

Azerite traits are strong in different situations as well.

Also keep in mind that an ilvl increase is not necessarily a better choice!
