How does Game Time work?

Hello, i want to buy game time.
Can someone please explain to me how it works?
Are they real days of active, online game time or is it just a subscription without auto renew?

All time in WoW ticks down whether if you play or not.

If you buy this, it won’t renew. You won’t be charged once it ends.

If you get this, it will renew when your gametime runs low. So it will charge you again near the end:

Hey there Bigt,

Just stepping in to say that even if you add a recurring subscription, you can still cancel it, after you’ve been charged. Some extra info in here!

To clarify that will cancel the recurring payment, it will not remove the existing game time that you subscribed!
