The loot & messing up torghast so hard has demotivated me from the game, i want 50 characters to do mission table with, but how do you get followers? yeah i know torghast, but is there a system? can i spam the same one on floor 1 24/7 or do i need to change it up?
its six from tower of the damned, 6 from covenant quests, 4 unaffiliated companions from torghast.

but how and where you get them seems to be utterly random. at least i havent found any information on it.

Ye is random, got a night fae & a ventyr follower so far but i cant take em cuz kyrian
Was just wondering that if i got him do i have to go to lvl 2 or wait for another torghast portal to open or something
Can’t back it up, but I think you need to do layer 4+. Otherwise it’s random.
I gave up on the mission table this expansion. Its overly complicated, Pointless to do and unrewarding.
I hear that mounts can appear on the table… I have never seen one.
i think you have a chance of a follower appearing every new run you do on a random floor (at least i cant think of ever having met two followers but its been so long i ve done torghast so cant really remember). i dont think the layer matters much, but maybe its like Shumensko said that you are more likely to meet a follower from layer 4 onward since theres little information to go by in general sadly. 
yeah they can, my bf has them all. however, i think those missions start appearing after a certain amount of adventure mission thingies. (the big ones which grant you higher missions, forgot what they re called) i think they start appearing if your followers are around level 30-40ish or higher and if you have done the adventure missions accordingly. they dont spawn for lower followers, at least not that im aware of.
Getting renown also gets you a lot. My shammy has 6 followers and only went to Torghast to get Baine. Theyre all from gaining renown

that’s the next point. I have some Followers which are level 30 up, and then some followers which are level 15 up. The gap was larger, but I did put some work into closing the gap a while ago.
But I still have 3 Followers which I haven’t claimed, who will jump in at level 1.
This gap will reduce the level of my Troops, because they are an average of all of your adventurers/followers.
It’s been months since I have completed one of those level up quests, simply because my troops are too lower level.
It’s just too messy to bother spending the time getting it tidied up.
Also, during the anima drought, I’ve just concentrated on spending my anima else where (I have completed Path of Ascension and bought all the transmogs/achievements etc.), on things that mattered to me more at the time.
oh yes, i absolutely agree. i absolutely dread getting new followers. its an utter annoyance because they drag my overall level down and i have to level them and the others again who lost levels.
i dont actively use the mission table anymore. i do it when i remember it exists but i dont pay much attention to it. those mounts and whatnot go nowhere so im not in a hurry.

All my followers are on 45-54, no clue what you guys did there but its absolutely worth it. You get there 3 or 4 mounts which are really awesome. And tbh, those missions are easy.
Also its very rewarding, you get there per mission 3-6 runes. Sell them each for 420g and you’ll be rich soon.
I love this mission table by far.
I’ve managed to farm all Torghast followers including neutral ones in less than an hour doing the following method.
1.Make sure Mort’Regar is up (to my knowledge this method only works there due to the floor layouts being extremely small)
2. go into layer 8 (higher layer means higher chance for follower)
3. Check your map to make sure it’s not a portal floor with a bunch of platforms. (from personal experience they tend to not spawn here and if they do all the portal jumping slows you down)
4. Use any form of stealth, pet control, far sight to check ahead or rush and suicide to check. otherwise exit and retry. You can usually spot an npc from the entrance 90% of the time meaning you only need a few seconds to determine if it’s empty.

Doing shaman atm, what im doing is going healer with anc totem then run around like a headless chicken & suicides in the end then totem revival
Cd resets each floor so gucci!
I’ve found 3+ gives me followers
Coldheart is another option, it is longer than Mort but it’s straight forward and very open so Far Sight makes it easy to check.
I only do XP missions, never any thing else.
and they level up in a decent pace.

They’re the ones that start Campaign:
I can’t remember what the first rewards are but later on you get pets, then mounts. I have all 4 mounts now and don’t seem to get Campaign missions any more
