How does multicraft work exactly?

I have 20% multicraft with BS and only 10% resourcefullness. Awkward thing is resourcefullness procs 3x-5x times as much.

I always make sure I have everburning ignition active which has full points in everburning forge and gracious forging.

Using blue profession gear and my hammer has multicraft.

Even using frameworks it does not significantly increase.

Am I doing something wrong here or is it broken?

I normally tend to craft my profession tools with Multicraft as I generally see more benefit, as the procs may give you more components (eg., alloys, inks, potions, etc).
Not sure what your focus as a crafter is about, but if you mostly do weapons, staves or gear, that will obviously not trigger Multicraft.

I don’t really find much benefit in Resourcefulness unless you are in a highly populated realm with plenty of crafting requests from other players to get the highest quality.

Unrelated to OP, but I don’t see why I’m not getting multicrafts of the patron orders. Not sure if its same for other orders too. Customer asked for 1 item, with my skill I managed to craft 3 of them. As a respectable establishment, customers are always my priority and they get what they asked for. The skilled craftsman should get the rest.
